Mente
A mente é campo de batalha espiritual. A Bíblia nos chama a renovar o entendimento, pensar com sabedoria e buscar a mente de Cristo em todas as áreas da vida.
Amar a Deus com a mente
O maior mandamento inclui amar a Deus com toda a mente. A vida intelectual deve ser consagrada ao Senhor.
37 Jeshu said to him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy Aloha with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind.
2 Think of that which is on high, and not of that on earth.
15 See then that you walk vigilantly, not as fools,16 but as the wise who redeem their opportunity, because the days are evil.
3 But I tell you all through the grace which is given to me, that you are not to think beyond what it is proper to think; but that you think with sobriety, every man as Aloha hath divided to him faith in measure.
Sabedoria e discernimento
A sabedoria é melhor que rubis. Quem a encontra, encontra a vida. A mente sábia discerne, planeja e previne erros.
Construir sobre a rocha
Quem ouve as palavras de Jesus e as pratica é como o sábio que edificou sobre a rocha firme e inabalável.
24 Every one therefore who heareth these my words, and doeth them, shall be likened to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock.
13 Who of you is wise and instructed? let him show his works in good conversations in meek wisdom.
2 And I considered myself among you as not knowing any thing unless Jeshu Meshiha, and him also as crucified.
20 For the occult things of Aloha from the foundations of the world, unto his creatures by intelligence are apparent, and his power and his Godhead eternal, that they may be without excuse.
