Messias
Jesus é o Messias prometido — o Cristo, o Ungido de Deus. Séculos de profecias apontaram para Ele, e Pedro declarou: 'Tu és o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo.'
A confissão messiânica
Pedro confessou: Tu és o Cristo, o Filho do Deus vivo. Os apóstolos pregaram incansavelmente que Jesus é o Messias prometido.
Then he asked them, "But who do you say I am?"
Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
And every day, in the Temple and from house to house, they continued to teach and preach this message: "Jesus is the Messiah."
But God has protected me right up to this present time so I can testify to everyone, from the least to the greatest. O Messias viria como Príncipe da Paz, Salvador e Senhor. Cada profecia se cumpriu em Jesus de Nazaré, nascido em Belém.
For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.
You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.
