21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and *made the sea into dry land, and the waters were *divided. 22 So *the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were*a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

11 I will remember the works of the Lord;

Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.

12 I will also meditate on all Your work,

And talk of Your deeds.

14 You are the God who does wonders;

You have declared Your strength among the peoples.

20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, *if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, *if you have faith and *do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, *but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.

23 Jesus said to him, *"If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

27 But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not *with God; for with God all things are possible."

58 Now *He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you *by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—

31 And when they had prayed, *the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, *and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Miracles Glorify Christ

11 Now *God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, 12 *so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.

12 *Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and *wonders and mighty *deeds.

28 And *God has appointed these in the church: first *apostles, second *prophets, third teachers, after that *miracles, then *gifts of healings, *helps, *administrations, varieties of tongues.

8 for to one is given *the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another *the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 *to another faith by the same Spirit, to another *gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 *to another the working of miracles, to another *prophecy, to another *discerning of spirits, to another *different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

39 But Jesus said, "Do not forbid him, *for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me.40 For *he who is not against us is on our side.

15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. *And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. *The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

17 Elijah was a man *with a nature like ours, and *he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed *again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

16 Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He *blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. 17 So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.

A Spirit of Infirmity

10 Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your *infirmity."13 *And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

14 But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had *healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, *"There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and *not on the Sabbath day."

15 The Lord then answered him and said, "Hypocrite!*Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?16 So ought not this woman, *being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?"17 And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were *done by Him.

11 This *beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, *and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, "This is truly *the Prophet who is to come into the world."

29 Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. *Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

That You May Believe

30 And *truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 *but these are written that *you may believe that Jesus *is the Christ, the Son of God, *and that believing you may have life in His name.

8 Then the *other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. 9 For as yet they did not know the *Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.

Punishment of Apostates

1 "If there arises among you a prophet or a *dreamer of dreams, *and he gives you a sign or a wonder, 2 and *the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God *is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 You shall *walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and *hold fast to Him.

13 And I saw three unclean *spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of *the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of *the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, *performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of *the whole world, to gather them to *the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

The Scribes and Pharisees Ask for a Sign

38 *Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from You."

39 But He answered and said to them, "An evil and *adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.40 *For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Woe to the Impenitent Cities

20 *Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent: 21 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago *in sackcloth and ashes.22 But I say to you, *it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you.23 And you, Capernaum, *who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.24 But I say to you *that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you."

13 For You formed my inward parts;

You covered me in my mother’s womb.

14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Marvelous are Your works,

And that my soul knows very well.

Prayer and Thanksgiving for the Lord’s Righteous Judgments

1 I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;

I will tell of all Your marvelous works.

14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: *Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear *a Son, and shall call His name *Immanuel.

22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 *"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

49 And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a *ghost, and cried out; 50 for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, *"Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be *afraid."

50 But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, "Do not be afraid; *only believe, and she will be made well."

37 Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to *rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, 38 saying:

*" ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’

*Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"

Jesus Ascends to Heaven

9 *Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, *He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

7 And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’

The Eighth Plague: Locusts

1 Now the Lord said to Moses, "Go in to Pharaoh; *for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his servants, *that I may show these signs of Mine before him, 2 and that *you may tell in the hearing of your son and your son’s son the mighty things I have done in Egypt, and My signs which I have done among them, that you may *know that I am the Lord."
