18 Who [is] a God like You? Taking away iniquity, || And passing by the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance, || He has not retained His anger forever, || Because He delights [in] kindness.

1 TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID, IN THE COMING OF NATHAN THE PROPHET TO HIM WHEN HE HAS GONE IN TO BATHSHEBA. Favor me, O God, according to Your kindness, || According to the abundance of Your mercies, || Blot out my transgressions. 2 Thoroughly wash me from my iniquity, || And cleanse me from my sin,

6 Remember Your mercies, O YHWH, || And Your kindnesses, for they [are] from the age. 7 Sins of my youth, and my transgressions, || Do not remember. According to Your kindness be mindful of me, || For Your goodness’ sake, O YHWH.

1 A SONG OF THE ASCENTS. I have called You from the depths, YHWH. 2 Lord, listen to my voice, || Your ears are attentive to the voice of my supplications.

11 You, O YHWH, do not restrain Your mercies from me, || Your kindness and Your truth continually keep me.

6 Surely goodness and kindness pursue me || All the days of my life, || And my dwelling [is] in the house of YHWH, || For [the] length of [my] days!

13 As a father has mercy on sons, || YHWH has mercy on those fearing Him.

15 But not as the offense so also [is] the free gift; for if by the offense of the one the many died, much more the grace of God, and the free gift in grace of the one man Jesus Christ, abound to the many;

15 What then? Will we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Let it not be!

4 but God, being rich in kindness, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even being dead in the trespasses, made us alive together with the Christ (by grace you are saved),

9 and He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness"; most gladly, therefore, will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of the Christ may rest on me:

13 Whoever is covering his transgressions does not prosper, || And he who is confessing and forsaking has mercy.

7 Let the wicked forsake his way, || And the man of iniquity his thoughts, || And he returns to YHWH, || And He pities him, || And to our God, || For He multiplies to pardon.

18 And therefore YHWH waits to favor you, || And therefore He is exalted to pity you, || For YHWH [is] a God of judgment, || O the blessedness of all waiting for Him.

13 but having gone, learn what [this] is: Kindness I will, and not sacrifice; for I did not come to call righteous men, but sinners."

21 Then Peter having come near to Him, said, "Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him—until seven times?" 22 Jesus says to him, "I do not say to you until seven times, but until seventy times seven.

14 For if you may forgive men their trespasses He also will forgive you—your Father who [is] in the heavens;

31 and in Your abundant mercies || You have not made them a consumption, || Nor have forsaken them; For a God, gracious and merciful, [are] You.

5 The man—good, gracious, and lending, || He sustains his matters in judgment.

17 And let the pleasantness of our God YHWH be on us, || And establish on us the work of our hands, || Indeed, establish the work of our hands!

16 we may come near, then, with freedom, to the throne of grace, that we may receive kindness, and find grace—for seasonable help.

1 I call on you, therefore, brothers, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies [as] a sacrifice—living, sanctified, acceptable to God—your intelligent service;

16 for God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, that everyone who is believing in Him may not perish, but may have continuous life.

29 because to you it was granted, on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on behalf of Him;

1 And Hezekiah sends to all Israel and Judah, and he has also written letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, [to cause them] to come to the house of YHWH in Jerusalem, to make a Passover to YHWH, God of Israel. 2 And the king takes counsel, and his heads, and all the assembly in Jerusalem, to make the Passover in the second month, 3 for they have not been able to make it at that time, for the priests have not sanctified themselves sufficiently, and the people have not been gathered to Jerusalem. 4 And the thing is right in the eyes of the king, and in the eyes of all the assembly, 5 and they establish the thing, to cause an intimation to pass over into all Israel, from Beer-Sheba even to Dan, to come to make a Passover to YHWH, God of Israel, in Jerusalem; for they had not done as it is written for a long time. 6 And the runners go with letters from the hand of the king and his heads into all Israel and Judah, even according to the command of the king, saying, "O sons of Israel, turn back to YHWH, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and He turns back to the escaped part that is left of you from the hand of the kings of Asshur; 7 and do not be like your fathers and like your brothers, who trespassed against YHWH, God of their fathers, and He gives them to desolation, as you see. 8 Now do not harden your neck like your fathers, give a hand to YHWH, and come into His sanctuary that He has sanctified for all time, and serve your God YHWH, and the fierceness of His anger turns back from you; 9 for in your turning back to YHWH, your brothers and your sons have mercies before their captors, even to return to this land, for your God YHWH [is] gracious and merciful, and He does not turn aside the face from you if you turn back to Him." 10 And the runners are passing over from city to city in the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun, but they are laughing at them and mocking at them, 11 only, certain from Asher, and Manasseh, and from Zebulun, have been humbled, and come to Jerusalem. 12 Also, in Judah the hand of God has been to give one heart to them to do the command of the king and of the heads in the matter of YHWH; 13 and many people are gathered to Jerusalem to make the Celebration of Unleavened Things in the second month—a mighty assembly for multitude. 14 And they arise and turn aside the altars that [are] in Jerusalem, and they have turned aside all the incense altars, and cast [them] into the Brook of Kidron; 15 and they slaughter the Passover-offering on the fourteenth of the second month, and the priests and the Levites have been ashamed, and sanctify themselves, and bring in burnt-offerings to the house of YHWH. 16 And they stand on their station according to their ordinance, according to the Law of Moses the man of God; the priests are sprinkling the blood out of the hand of the Levites, 17 for many [are] in the assembly who have not sanctified themselves, and the Levites [are] over the slaughtering of the Passover-offerings for everyone not clean, to sanctify [him] to YHWH: 18 for a multitude of the people, many from Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, have not been cleansed, but have eaten the Passover otherwise than it is written; but Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, "YHWH, who [is] good, receives atonement for everyone 19 who has prepared his heart to seek God—YHWH, God of his fathers—yet not according to the cleansing of the holy place"; 20 and YHWH listens to Hezekiah and heals the people. 21 And the sons of Israel, those found in Jerusalem, make the Celebration of Unleavened Things [for] seven days with great joy; and the Levites and the priests are giving praise to YHWH day by day with instruments of praise before YHWH. 22 And Hezekiah speaks to the heart of all the Levites, those giving good understanding concerning YHWH, and they eat the appointed thing [for] seven days; sacrificing sacrifices of peace-offerings, and making confession to YHWH, God of their fathers. 23 And all the assembly take counsel to keep [it] another seven days, and they keep [it for] seven days [with] joy; 24 for Hezekiah king of Judah has presented one thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep to the assembly; and the heads have presented one thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep to the assembly; and priests sanctify themselves in abundance. 25 And all the assembly of Judah rejoices, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the assembly, those coming in from Israel, and the sojourners—those coming in from the land of Israel and those dwelling in Judah, 26 and there is great joy in Jerusalem; for from the days of Solomon son of David, king of Israel, there is not like this in Jerusalem, 27 and the priests, the Levites, rise and bless the people, and their voice is heard, and their prayer comes into His holy habitation in the heavens.

1 "Saying, Behold, one sends his wife away, || And she has gone from him, || And she has been to another man, || Does he return to her again? Is that land not greatly defiled? And you have committed whoredom with many lovers, || And turn to Me again," || A declaration of YHWH. 2 "Lift your eyes to the high places, and see, || Where have you not been lain with? You have sat for them on the ways, || As an Arab in a wilderness, || And you defile the land, || By your fornications, and by your wickedness. 3 And showers are withheld, and there has been no spring rain. You have the forehead of a whorish woman, || You have refused to be ashamed. 4 Have you not from now on called to Me, || My Father, You [are] the leader of my youth? 5 Does He keep for all time? Watch forever? Behold, you have spoken these things, || And you do evil, and prevail." 6 And YHWH says to me, in the days of Josiah the king, "Have you seen that which backsliding Israel has done? She is going on every high mountain, and to the place of every green tree, and commits fornication there. 7 And I say, after her doing all these, Return to Me, and she has not returned, and her treacherous sister Judah sees it. 8 And I see that for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery, I have sent her away, and I give the bill of her divorce to her; and her treacherous sister Judah has not feared, and goes and commits fornication—she also. 9 And it has come to pass, from the vileness of her fornication, that the land is defiled, and she commits fornication with stone and with wood. 10 And even in all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned back to Me with all her heart, but with falsehood," a declaration of YHWH. 11 And YHWH says to me: "Backsliding Israel has justified herself, || More than treacherous Judah. 12 Go, and you have proclaimed these words toward the north, and have said, Return, O backsliding Israel," || A declaration of YHWH! "I do not cause My anger to fall on you, for I [am] kind," || A declaration of YHWH, || "I do not watch for all time. 13 Only, know your iniquity, || For you have transgressed against your God YHWH, || And you scatter your ways to strangers, || Under every green tree, || And you have not listened to My voice," || A declaration of YHWH. 14 "Return, O backsliding sons," || A declaration of YHWH. "For I have ruled over you, || And taken you—one from a city, and two from a family, || And have brought you to Zion, 15 And I have given shepherds to you || According to My own heart, || And they have fed you with knowledge and understanding. 16 And it has come to pass, when you are multiplied, || And have been fruitful in the land, || In those days," || A declaration of YHWH, || "They no longer say, The Ark of the Covenant of YHWH, || Nor does it go up on the heart, || Nor do they remember concerning it, || Nor do they inspect, nor is it made again. 17 At that time they cry to Jerusalem, O throne of YHWH, || And all the nations have been gathered to her, || For the Name of YHWH, to Jerusalem, || Nor do they go after the stubbornness of their evil heart anymore. 18 In those days the house of Judah || Goes to the house of Israel, || And they come together from the land of the south, || To the land that I caused your fathers to inherit. 19 And I have said, How do I put you among the sons, || And give a desirable land to you, || A beautiful inheritance of the hosts of nations, || And I say, You call Me—My Father, || And you do not turn back from after Me. 20 But a woman has deceived her friend, || So you have dealt treacherously with Me, || O house of Israel," || A declaration of YHWH. 21 A voice is heard on high places—weeping, || Supplications of the sons of Israel, || For they have made their way perverse, || They have forgotten their God YHWH. 22 "Return, O backsliding sons, || I cause your backslidings to cease." "Behold us, we have come to You, || For You [are] our God YHWH. 23 Surely in vain—from the heights, || The multitude of mountains—Surely the salvation of Israel [is] in our God YHWH. 24 And the shameful thing has devoured || The labor of our fathers from our youth, || Their flock and their herd, || Their sons and their daughters. 25 We have lain down in our shame, and our confusion covers us, || For we have sinned against our God YHWH, || We, and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, || Nor have we listened to the voice of our God YHWH!"
