Mudança de vida
Recomeçar parece impossível quando o peso do passado insiste em nos acompanhar a cada passo. O cansaço das próprias falhas costuma nos convencer de que certas histórias não têm mais conserto, como se o erro definisse o limite de quem podemos ser.
Deus não trabalha com remendos, mas com recomeços profundos que alcançam as raízes da nossa identidade. Quando você se entrega a Ele, o rumo se altera, a culpa perde o domínio e a esperança deixa de ser teoria para virar realidade diária.
A mudança de vida é possível em Cristo. Não importa o passado, qual foi o erro ou quão fundo a queda — Deus renova, restaura e transforma completamente aquele que se volta para Ele.
Nova vida em Cristo
Se alguém está em Cristo, nova criação é. Deus nos dá coração novo, mente renovada e esperança para o futuro.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, let him be a newe creature. Olde things are passed away: beholde, all things are become newe.(2 Corinthians 5:17)
Create in mee a cleane heart, O God, and renue a right spirit within me. Cast mee not away from thy presence, and take not thine holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the ioy of thy saluation, and stablish me with thy free Spirit.(Psalms 51:10-12)
I Beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that yee giue vp your bodies a liuing sacrifice, holy, acceptable vnto God, which is your reasonable seruing of God. And fashion not your selues like vnto this worlde, but bee yee changed by the renewing of your minde, that ye may prooue what that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God is.(Romans 12:1,2)
I am crucified with Christ, but I liue, yet not I any more, but Christ liueth in me: and in that that I now liue in the flesh, I liue by the faith in the Sonne of God, who hath loued me, and giuen him selfe for me.(Galatians 2:20)
Passos para a transformação
A mudança começa com confissão, fé e decisão. Deus é fiel para perdoar e completar a boa obra que começou em nós.
If we acknowledge our sinnes, he is faithfull and iust, to forgiue vs our sinnes, and to clense vs from all vnrighteousnes.(1 John 1:9)
For I knowe the thoughtes, that I haue thought towards you, saith the Lord, euen the thoughtes of peace, and not of trouble, to giue you an ende, and your hope.(Jeremiah 29:11)
Be nothing carefull, but in all thinges let your requestes be shewed vnto God in praier, and supplication with giuing of thankes. And the peace of God which passeth all vnderstanding, shall preserue your heartes and mindes in Christ Iesus.(Philippians 4:6,7)
Studie to shewe thy selfe approued vnto God, a workeman that needeth not to be ashamed, diuiding the worde of trueth aright.(2 Timothy 2:15)
Coragem para mudar
Não temas, porque Deus está contigo. Ele nos fortalece para sermos sal da terra e nos dá palavras que edificam e transformam.
Plucke vp your hearts therefore, and be strong: dread not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God him selfe doeth goe with thee: he will not faile thee, nor forsake thee.(Deuteronomy 31:6)
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt haue lost his sauour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be troden vnder foote of men.(Matthew 5:13)
