The wise woman builds her house,
But the foolish pulls it down with her hands.
"The fear of the Lordis the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
The fear of the Lordis the instruction of wisdom,
And before honor is humility.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore!

The Virtuous Wife
Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
Strength and honor are her clothing;
She shall rejoice in time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
And on her tongue is the law of kindness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all."
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.
An excellent wife is the crown of her husband,
But she who causes shame islike rottenness in his bones.
A gracious woman retains honor,
But ruthless men retain riches.
Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord.

the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, tobe discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
Likewise, their wives mustbe reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins
"Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
"And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
"Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
"Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hourin which the Son of Man is coming.
