Mulher virtuosa, quem a achará? Seu valor excede o de rubis. Ela é o coração da família e a força do lar.

[ALEPH-BET] A woman of worth who finds? Indeed, her price [is] far above rubies. The heart of her husband has trusted in her, || And he does not lack spoil. She has done him good, and not evil, || All [the] days of her life. She has sought wool and flax, || And with delight she works [with] her hands. She has been as ships of the merchant, || She brings in her bread from afar. Indeed, she rises while yet night, || And gives food to her household, || And a portion to her girls. She has considered a field, and takes it, || She has planted a vineyard from the fruit of her hands. She has girded her loins with might, || And strengthens her arms. She has perceived when her merchandise [is] good, || Her lamp is not extinguished in the night. She has sent forth her hands on a spindle, || And her hands have held a distaff. She has spread forth her hand to the poor, || Indeed, she sent forth her hands to the needy.
A virtuous woman [is] a crown to her husband, || And as rottenness in his bones [is] one causing shame.
And now, my daughter, do not fear, all that you say I do to you, for all the gate of my people knows that you [are] a virtuous woman.
Caráter acima da aparência
Enganosa é a graça e vã é a formosura, mas a mulher que teme ao Senhor será louvada. A verdadeira beleza é interior.
Favor [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain, || A woman fearing YHWH, she may boast herself.
also the women in like manner, in orderly apparel, to adorn themselves with modesty and sobriety, not in braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or clothing of great price, but—which becomes women professing godly piety—through good works.
Every wise woman has built her house, || And the foolish breaks it down with her hands.
House and wealth [are] the inheritance of fathers, || And an understanding wife [is] from YHWH.
Aged women, in like manner, in behavior as becomes sacred persons, not false accusers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of good things, that they may make the young women sober-minded, to be lovers of [their] husbands, lovers of [their] children, sober, pure, keepers of [their own] houses, good, subject to their own husbands, that evil may not be spoken of the word of God.
