A Bíblia celebra a mulher como obra-prima da criação divina. Ela é elogiada por sua sabedoria, força, beleza interior e papel fundamental na família e na sociedade.
A mulher na criação
Deus criou o homem e a mulher à sua imagem. A mulher foi formada como ajudadora idônea — parceira de igual dignidade e valor.
21 And inasmuch as thy brethren shall rebel against thee, they shall be cut off from the presence of the Lord.22 And inasmuch as thou shalt keep my commandments, thou shalt be made a ruler and a teacher over thy brethren.23 For behold, in that day that they shall rebel against me, I will curse them even with a sore curse, and they shall have no power over thy seed except they shall rebel against me also.
Virtude e caráter
A beleza é vã e a formosura passageira, mas a mulher que teme ao Senhor é digna de louvor. Seu caráter é seu maior tesouro.
11 For behold, and also his blood atoneth for the sins of those who have fallen by the transgression of Adam, who have died not knowing the will of God concerning them, or who have ignorantly sinned.
Sabedoria e serviço
As mulheres da Bíblia foram líderes, profetisas e discípulas fiéis. Jesus honrou as mulheres e as incluiu em seu ministério.
