Mulher
27 And God created the man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
21 And Yahweh God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead of it:22 and the rib, which Yahweh God had taken from the man, he made a woman, and brought her to the man.23 And the man said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she will be called a woman, because she was taken out of a man.
Virtude e caráter
A beleza é vã e a formosura passageira, mas a mulher que teme ao Senhor é digna de louvor. Seu caráter é seu maior tesouro.
30 Grace is deceitful, and beauty is vain; [But] a woman who fears Yahweh, she will be praised.
1 Every wise woman builds her house; But the foolish plucks it down with her own hands.
4 A worthy woman is the crown of her husband; But she who brings shame is as rottenness in his bones.
16 A gracious woman obtains honor; And violent men obtain riches.
14 House and riches are an inheritance from fathers; But a prudent wife is from Yahweh.
19 It is better to dwell in a desert land, Than with a contentious and fretful woman.
11 And now, my daughter, don't be afraid; I will do to you all that you say; for all the city of my people does know that you are a worthy woman.
Sabedoria e serviço
As mulheres da Bíblia foram líderes, profetisas e discípulas fiéis. Jesus honrou as mulheres e as incluiu em seu ministério.
1 And it came to pass soon afterward, that he went about through cities and villages, proclaiming and preaching [the good news about] the kingdom of God, and with him the twelve,2 and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary that was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,3 and Joanna the wife of Chuzas Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, who were serving them out of their substance.
1 In like manner, you{} wives, [be] in subjection to your{} own husbands; that, even if any do not obey the word, they may without the word be gained by the behavior of their wives;
7 You{} husbands, in like manner, dwell with [your{} wives] according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life; to the end that your{} prayers not be hindered.
11 Women in like manner [must be] grave, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things.
3 that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;4 that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,5 [to be] sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God not be blasphemed:
