3 For this is the will of God, [even] your{} sanctification, that you{} abstain from fornication;4 that each of you{} know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor,5 not by immoral sexual passion, even as the Gentiles who don't know God;

13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body:

3 And everyone who has this hope [set] on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

Selah.5 I acknowledged my sin to you, And my iniquity I did not hide: I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh; And you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.6 For this let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they will not reach to him.

2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.3 For I know my transgressions; And my sin is ever before me.4 Against you, you only, I have sinned, And done that which is evil in your sight; That you may be justified when you speak, And be clear when you judge.

7 Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean: Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.8 Make me to hear joy and gladness, That the bones which you have broken may rejoice.9 Hide your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities.10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit inside me.11 Don't cast me away from your presence; And don't take your holy Spirit from me.12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit.
