Nascer de novo
Nascer de novo é a porta de entrada para a vida em Deus. Jesus ensinou que sem o novo nascimento espiritual, ninguém pode ver nem entrar no Reino de Deus.
A necessidade do novo nascimento
Jesus declarou a Nicodemos: 'Aquele que não nascer de novo não pode ver o Reino de Deus.' O novo nascimento é pelo Espírito.
Jesus replied, "I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God’s kingdom!"

Nicodemus asked, "How can a grown man ever be born a second time?"
Jesus answered:
I tell you for certain that before you can get into God’s kingdom, you must be born not only by water, but by the Spirit. Humans give life to their children. Yet only God’s Spirit can change you into a child of God. Don’t be surprised when I say that you must be born from above. Only God’s Spirit gives new life. The Spirit is like the wind that blows wherever it wants to. You can hear the wind, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going.
Jesus answered:

I promise you that you cannot get into God’s kingdom, unless you accept it the way a child does."
Who Is the Greatest?
About this time the disciples came to Jesus and asked him who would be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Jesus called for a child to come over and stand near him. Then he said:
I promise you this. If you don’t change and become like a child, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven. But if you are as humble as this child, you are the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Nova criação em Cristo
Quem está em Cristo é nova criação. Morremos e ressuscitamos com Ele para viver em novidade de vida, livres do velho homem.
Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new.
When we were baptized, we died and were buried with Christ. We were baptized, so we would live a new life, as Christ was raised to life by the glory of God the Father.
If we shared in Jesus' death by being baptized, we will be raised to life with him. We know that the persons we used to be were nailed to the cross with Jesus. This was done, so our sinful bodies would no longer be the slaves of sin. We know sin doesn’t have power over dead people.
When we were baptized, we died and were buried with Christ. We were baptized, so we would live a new life, as Christ was raised to life by the glory of God the Father.
In the same way, you must think of yourselves as dead to the power of sin. But Christ Jesus has given life to you, and you live for God.
I have died, but Christ lives in me. And I now live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
You were told that your foolish desires will destroy you and that you must give up your old way of life with all its bad habits. Let the Spirit change your way of thinking and make you into a new person. You were created to be like God, and so you must please him and be truly holy.
And stop lying to each other. You have given up your old way of life with its habits.
Each of you is now a new person. You are becoming more and more like your Creator, and you will understand him better. It doesn’t matter if you are a Greek or a Jew, or if you are circumcised or not. You may even be a barbarian or a Scythian, and you may be a slave or a free person. Yet Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.
Filhos de Deus
Nascemos de novo pela Palavra viva de Deus. Quem crê em Jesus recebe o direito de se tornar filho de Deus, nascido do Espírito.
Yet some people accepted him
and put their faith in him.
So he gave them the right
to be the children of God.
They were not God’s children
by nature or because
of any human desires.
God himself was the one
who made them his children.
A Real Reason for Hope
Praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is so good, and by raising Jesus from death, he has given us new life and a hope that lives on. God has something stored up for you in heaven, where it will never decay or be ruined or disappear.
Do this because God has given you new birth by his message that lives on forever.
Be like newborn babies who are thirsty for the pure spiritual milk that will help you grow and be saved. You have already found out how good the Lord really is.
Think how much the Father loves us. He loves us so much that he lets us be called his children, as we truly are. But since the people of this world did not know who Christ is, they don’t know who we are. My dear friends, we are already God’s children, though what we will be hasn’t yet been seen. But we do know when Christ returns, we will be like him, because we will see him as he truly is.
But when the time was right, God sent his Son, and a woman gave birth to him. His Son obeyed the Law, so he could set us free from the Law, and we could become God’s children.
Then I will take away your stubbornness and make you eager to be completely faithful to me. You will want to obey me and all my laws and teachings. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
But God was merciful! We were dead because of our sins, but God loved us so much he made us alive with Christ, and God’s gift of undeserved grace is what saves you.
