3 Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say to thee, If any one may not be born from above, he is not able to see the reign of God;

3 Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say to thee, If any one may not be born from above, he is not able to see the reign of God;4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How is a man able to be born, being old? is he able into the womb of his mother a second time to enter, and to be born?5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say to thee, If any one may not be born of water, and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the reign of God;6 that which hath been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which hath been born of the Spirit is spirit.7 Thou mayest not wonder that I said to thee, It behoveth you to be born from above;8 the Spirit where he willeth doth blow, and his voice thou dost hear, but thou hast not known whence he cometh, and whither he goeth; thus is every one who hath been born of the Spirit.

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say to thee, If any one may not be born of water, and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the reign of God;6 that which hath been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which hath been born of the Spirit is spirit.7 Thou mayest not wonder that I said to thee, It behoveth you to be born from above;

15 verily I say to you, whoever may not receive the reign of God, as a child -- he may not enter into it;

1 At that hour came the disciples near to Jesus, saying, Who, now, is greater in the reign of the heavens?2 And Jesus having called near a child, did set him in the midst of them,3 and said, Verily I say to you, if ye may not be turned and become as the children, ye may not enter into the reign of the heavens;4 whoever then may humble himself as this child, he is the greater in the reign of the heavens.

17 so that if any one [is] in Christ -- [he is] a new creature; the old things did pass away, lo, become new have the all things.

4 we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk.5 For, if we have become planted together to the likeness of his death, [so] also we shall be of the rising again;6 this knowing, that our old man was crucified with [him], that the body of the sin may be made useless, for our no longer serving the sin;7 for he who hath died hath been set free from the sin.

4 we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk.

11 so also ye, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to the sin, and living to God in Jesus Christ our Lord.

20 with Christ I have been crucified, and live no more do I, and Christ doth live in me; and that which I now live in the flesh -- in the faith I live of the Son of God, who did love me and did give himself for me;

22 ye are to put off concerning the former behaviour the old man, that is corrupt according to the desires of the deceit,23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,24 and to put on the new man, which, according to God, was created in righteousness and kindness of the truth.

9 Lie not one to another, having put off the old man with his practices,10 and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who did create him;11 where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, servant, freeman -- but the all and in all -- Christ.

12 but as many as did receive him to them he gave authority to become sons of God -- to those believing in his name,13 who -- not of blood nor of a will of flesh, nor of a will of man but -- of God were begotten.

3 Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to the abundance of His kindness did beget us again to a living hope, through the rising again of Jesus Christ out of the dead,4 to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and unfading, reserved in the heavens for you,

23 being begotten again, not out of seed corruptible, but incorruptible, through a word of God -- living and remaining -- to the age;

2 as new-born babes the words pure milk desire ye, that in it ye may grow,3 if so be ye did taste that the Lord [is] gracious,

1 See ye what love the Father hath given to us, that children of God we may be called; because of this the world doth not know us, because it did not know Him;2 beloved, now, children of God are we, and it was not yet manifested what we shall be, and we have known that if he may be manifested, like him we shall be, because we shall see him as he is;

4 and when the fulness of time did come, God sent forth His Son, come of a woman, come under law,5 that those under law he may redeem, that the adoption of sons we may receive;

19 And I have given to them one heart, And a new spirit I do give in your midst, And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, And I have given to them a heart of flesh.20 So that in My statutes they walk, And My judgments they keep, and have done them, And they have been to me for a people, And I am to them for God.

4 and God, being rich in kindness, because of His great love with which He loved us,5 even being dead in the trespasses, did make us to live together with the Christ, (by grace ye are having been saved,)
