A religiosidade externa nunca substitui a sinceridade do coração.
And Samuel said, Has Jehovah delight in burnt-offerings and sacrifices, As in hearkening to the voice of Jehovah? Behold, obedience is better than sacrifice, Attention than the fat of rams.(1 Samuel 15:22)
But Peter answering, and the apostles, said, God must be obeyed rather than men.(The Acts 5:29)
And we are his witnesses of these things, and the Holy Spirit also, which God has given to those that obey him.(The Acts 5:32)
though he were Son, he learned obedience from the things which he suffered; and having been perfected, became to all them that obey him, author of eternal salvation;(Hebrews 5:8,9)
If ye love me, keep my commandments.(John 14:15)
Jesus answered and said to him, If any one love me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.(John 14:23)
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grievous.(1 John 5:3)
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have boldness towards God, and whatsoever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and practise the things which are pleasing in his sight.(1 John 3:21,22)
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things that I say?(Luke 6:46)
And he said to them all, If any one will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me;(Luke 9:23)
Praticar a Palavra no dia a dia
But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, beguiling yourselves.(James 1:22)
Subject yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.(James 4:7)
This book of the law shall not depart from thy mouth; and thou shalt meditate upon it day and night, that thou mayest take heed to do according to all that is written therein; for then shalt thou have good success in thy ways, and then shalt thou prosper.(Joshua 1:8)
My son, observe thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the teaching of thy mother;(Proverbs 6:20)
Keeping instruction is the path to life; but he that forsaketh reproof goeth astray.(Proverbs 10:17)
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Jehovah thy God to take heed to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that Jehovah thy God will set thee supreme above all nations of the earth;(Deuteronomy 28:1)
Oh that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments continually, that it might be well with them and with their sons for ever!(Deuteronomy 5:29)
In all the way that Jehovah your God hath commanded you shall ye walk, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.(Deuteronomy 5:33)
Whosoever then shall do away with one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whosoever shall practise and teach them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens.(Matthew 5:19)
So then, my beloved brethren, be firm, immovable, abounding always in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.(1 Corinthians 15:58)
For as indeed by the disobedience of the one man the many have been constituted sinners, so also by the obedience of the one the many will be constituted righteous.(Romans 5:19)
But law came in, in order that the offence might abound; but where sin abounded grace has overabounded,(Romans 5:20)
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your intelligent service.(Romans 12:1)
And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.(Romans 12:2)
as to diligent zealousness, not slothful; in spirit fervent; serving the Lord.(Romans 12:11)
for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.(Romans 8:14)
Let every soul be subject to the authorities that are above him. For there is no authority except from God; and those that exist are set up by God. So that he that sets himself in opposition to the authority resists the ordinance of God; and they who thus resist shall bring sentence of guilt on themselves.(Romans 13:1,2)
in order that I may come to you in joy by God’s will, and that I may be refreshed with you.(Romans 15:32)
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to God the Father’s glory.(Philippians 2:11)
as children of obedience, not conformed to your former lusts in your ignorance;(1 Peter 1:14)
But he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thine understanding; and thy neighbour as thyself.(Luke 10:27)
But to you that hear I say, Love your enemies; do good to those that hate you; bless those that curse you; pray for those who use you despitefully.(Luke 6:27,28)
and keep the charge of Jehovah thy God to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest and whithersoever thou turnest thyself;(1 Kings 2:3)
At the hearing of the ear, they obey me: strangers come cringing unto me.(Psalms 18:44)
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and have set you that ye should go and that ye should bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide, that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name he may give you.(John 15:16)
If ye do not hear, and if ye do not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith Jehovah of hosts, I will even send the curse among you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have already cursed them, because ye do not lay it to heart.(Malachi 2:2)
