4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

9 The LORD perserves the strangers; he relieves the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

9 Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother:10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

22 All of you shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.23 If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;24 And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

12 Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.
