Ouvir a voz de Deus é o privilégio supremo do cristão. Ele fala por sua Palavra, pelo Espírito e em circunstâncias — e as ovelhas reconhecem a voz do bom Pastor.
As ovelhas ouvem a voz do Pastor
Jesus disse: minhas ovelhas ouvem minha voz, eu as conheço e elas me seguem. A relação com Deus é íntima e pessoal.
27 My sheep hear my voice: and I know them, and they follow me.
45 It is written in the prophets: And they shall all be taught of God. Every one that hath heard of the Father, and hath learned, cometh to me.
47 He that is of God, heareth the words of God. Therefore you hear them not, because you are not of God.
24 Amen, amen I say unto you, that he who heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath life everlasting; and cometh not into judgment, but is passed from death to life.25 Amen, amen I say unto you, that the hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live.

Toda Escritura é inspirada por Deus. A Bíblia é a voz confiável de Deus registrada para nos guiar em toda verdade.
16 All scripture, inspired of God, is profitable to teach, to reprove, to correct, to instruct in justice,17 That the man of God may be perfect, furnished to every good work.
20 Understanding this first, that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation.21 For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.
17 Faith then cometh by hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ.
24 Every one therefore that heareth these my words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man that built his house upon a rock,25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded on a rock.
28 But he said: Yea rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God, and keep it.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.4 The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.
4 But thou, O Lord art my protector, my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
