Ouvir a voz de Deus é o privilégio supremo do cristão. Ele fala por sua Palavra, pelo Espírito e em circunstâncias — e as ovelhas reconhecem a voz do bom Pastor.

Jesus disse: minhas ovelhas ouvem minha voz, eu as conheço e elas me seguem. A relação com Deus é íntima e pessoal.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.
He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God."
Life and Judgment Are Through the Son
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.
The Eternal Word
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Word Becomes Flesh
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke astheywere moved by the Holy Spirit.
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Build on the Rock
"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
But He said, "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"

And He heard me from His holy hill.
