Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. Now if we are afflicted, itis for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also youwillpartake of the consolation.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;
Nor has He hidden His face from Him;
But when He cried to Him, He heard.
The Lordis near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
Promessas de restauração
Deus sarará o quebrantado de coração e atará as suas feridas. Quem semeia em lágrimas, colherá com júbilo.
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
For His anger isbutfor a moment,
His favor isfor life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning.
God the Refuge of His People and Conqueror of the Nations
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Cast your burden on the Lord,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
You number my wanderings;
Put my tears into Your bottle;
Arethey not in Your book?
The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
A refuge in times of trouble.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Paz e descanso

Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Esperança eterna
Deus enxugará toda lágrima. A dor presente é momentânea, mas a glória futura é eterna. O Senhor transforma luto em dança.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them andbe their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
The Good News of Salvation
"The Spirit of the Lord Godis upon Me,
Because the Lordhas anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to thosewhoare bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified."
As one whom his mother comforts,
So I will comfort you;
And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem."
Nunca sozinhos
Deus nunca nos abandona. Ele está ao nosso lado em cada vale, segura nossa mão e promete que o choro não durará para sempre.
And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."
Letyour conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
The Lordis good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him.
The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, heisa new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls toHim in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
This is my comfort in my affliction,
For Your word has given me life.
He sets on high those who are lowly,
And those who mourn are lifted to safety.
So Jesus answered and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s,who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
