3 Blessed be God ye father of oure Lorde Iesus Christ the father of mercy and the God of all comforte4 which comforteth vs in all oure tribulacio in so moche yt we are able to coforte them which are troubled in whatsoever tribulacion it be with the same comforte wher with we oure selves are coforted of God.

5 For as ye affliccios of Christ are pleteous in vs eve so is oure consolacio plenteous by Christ.

29 Iesus answered and sayde: Verely I saye vnto you ther is no man that forsaketh housse or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wyfe other chyldren or londes for my sake and the gospelles30 which shall not receave an houndred foolde nowe in this lyfe: houses and brethren and sisters and mothers and chyldren and londes with persecucions: and in the worlde to come eternall lyfe.

16 and I will praye the father and he shall geve you a nother comforter yt he maye byde with you ever17 which is the sprete of truthe whome the worlde canot receave because the worlde seyth him not nether knoweth him. But ye knowe him. For he dwelleth with you and shalbe in you.18 I will not leave you comfortlesse: but will come vnto you.
