3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort;4 who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted of God.

6 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your{} requests be made known to God.

7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your{} hearts and your{} thoughts in Christ Jesus.

1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to those who are bound;2 to proclaim the year of Yahweh's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;3 to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified.

13 As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you{}; and you{} will be comforted in Jerusalem.

8 And Yahweh, it is he who goes before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: don't be afraid, neither be dismayed.

5 Be{} free from the love of money; content with such things as you{} have: for he himself has said, I will never fail you, neither will I ever forsake you.

7 Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.

17 Yahweh your God is in the midst of you, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over you with singing.

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you{}, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you{} hope in your{} latter end.

17 Therefore if any man is in Christ, [he is] a new creation: the old things are passed away; look, they have become new.

19 Therefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing to a faithful Creator.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you{} in due time;7 casting all your{} anxiety on him, because he cares for you{}.

4 Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

4 One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Yahweh all the days of my life, To see the beauty of Yahweh, And to inquire in his temple.5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion: In the covert of his tabernacle he will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.

50 This is my comfort in my affliction; For your word has quickened me.

11 So that he sets up on high those who are low, And those who mourn are exalted to safety.

29 Jesus said, Truly I say to you{}, There is no man who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me, and for the sake of the good news,30 but he [who] will receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he will give you{} another Comforter, that he may be with you{} forever,17 [even] the Spirit of truth: whom the world can't receive; for it does not see him, neither knows him: you{} know him; for he stays with you{}, and will be in you{}.18 I will not leave you{} desolate: I come to you{}.
