A Palavra de Deus permanece para sempre. As Escrituras foram preservadas por Deus ao longo dos milênios para instrução, consolação e guia de todas as gerações.
A Palavra eterna
Céus e terra passarão, mas as palavras de Deus jamais passarão. Sua Palavra é eterna, infalível e imutável — a verdade que sustenta tudo.

A inspiração divina
Toda Escritura é inspirada por Deus. Homens santos falaram da parte do Senhor, e a Palavra escrita é a expressão fiel da vontade divina.
20 While this first you know, that every prophecy of the scripture its own solution is not.21 For not by the will of man came any prophecy, but while by the Holy Spirit led spake the holy men of God.
1 In manifold portions and in all manners, spake Aloha with our fathers by the prophets from the first: but in these last days he hath spoken with us by his Son;2 whom he constituted the heir of every thing, and by whom he made the worlds;3 who himself is the resplendence of his glory, and the image of his Being, and upholdeth all (things) by the power of his word; and he, in his (own) person, hath made purification of sins, and hath sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high .
14 And the Word flesh was made, and tabernacled with us; and we saw his glory, the glory as of the one-begotten who (was) from the Father, full of grace and truth.
A Palavra como guia e tesouro
A Palavra de Deus é lâmpada para os pés, espada do Espírito e tesouro para o coração. Guardá-la e meditá-la nos protege do pecado.
8 But what saith it? Nigh thee is the word of thy mouth and of thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.
17 Therefore faith is from the hearing of the ear, and the hearing of the ear from the word of Aloha.18 But I say, Have they not heard? Behold, in all the earth their voice hath gone forth, And to the ends of the world their words!
4 For every thing that hath before been written for our instruction was written, that by the patience and consolation of the scriptures we might have hope.
19 and know the grandeur of the love of the Meshiha, and be filled with all the fulness of Aloha.
3 For this is good and acceptable before Aloha our Saviour;4 who willeth that all men should be saved, and turn to the knowledge of the truth.
