Profecia
A profecia é a voz de Deus revelada ao seu povo. Através dos profetas, Deus comunicou seus planos, advertiu contra o pecado e anunciou a vinda do Messias.
Profecia e revelação divina
A profecia na Bíblia não é invenção humana, mas homens santos de Deus falaram movidos pelo Espírito Santo, revelando os mistérios divinos.
21 For not, by will of man, was prophecy brought in, at any time, but, as, by Holy Spirit, they were borne along, spake, men, from God.
7 Surely My Lord Yahweh, will do, nothing,except he have disclosed his secret unto his servants, the prophets!
5 And, when they heard , they were immersed into the name of the Lord Jesus;6 and, Paul laying hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
Profecias messiânicas cumpridas
As profecias do Antigo Testamento sobre o Messias se cumpriram em Jesus. Seu nascimento, ministério e sacrifício foram anunciados séculos antes.
14 Wherefore let My Lord Himself give you a sign,Lo! a Virgin, being with child and giving birth to a son, thou wilt call his name Immanuel.
22 But, all this, hath come to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord, through the prophet, saying:23 Lo! a Virgin, shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son,and they shall call his name Emmanuel; which is, being translated, God with us.
9 Exult greatly, O daughter of Zion, Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem, Lo! thy king, cometh unto thee, vindicated and victorious, is he,lowly, and riding upon an ass, yea, upon a colt, a young ass.

Discernimento profético
A Bíblia nos alerta para examinar tudo e reter o que é bom. Nem todo que profetiza fala da parte de Deus — devemos provar os espíritos.
1 Beloved! not in every spirit, believe ye, but test the spirits, whether they are, of God; because, many false prophets, have gone out into the world.
4 Ye, are, of God, dear children, and have overcome them; because, greater, is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
21 But , all things, put to the proofwhat is comely, hold ye fast:22 From every form of wickedness, abstain.
15 Beware of false prophets, who come unto you in clothing of sheep,while, within, they are ravening wolves.
12 Whatsoever things, therefore, ye would, that men be doing unto you, so, be, ye also, doing, unto them,for, this, is the law and the prophets.
2 And, though I have prophesying, and know all sacred secrets, and all knowledge,and though I have all faith, so as to be removing mountains, and have not, love, I am, nothing;
