6 But without faith itis impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Loving God Under Trials

12 *Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive *the crown of life *which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

5 *If any of you lacks wisdom, *let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and *it will be given to him.

29 *But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking

7 *"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

24 Therefore I say to you, *whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were *faithful over a few things, *I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into *the joy of your lord.’

23 *And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 *knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; *for you serve the Lord Christ.

58 *Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing *that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

9 And *let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap *if we do not lose heart.

30 *But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

6 who *"will render to each one according to his deeds":

38 *Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your *bosom. For *with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. *Freely you have received, freely give.

8 *And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

18 The wicked man does deceptive work,

But *he who sows righteousness willhave a sure reward.

4 By humility and the fear of the Lord

Are riches and honor and life.

3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you;

*Bind them around your neck,

*Write them on the tablet of your heart,

4 *And so find favor and high esteem

In the sight of God and man.

16 *A man’s gift makes room for him,

And brings him before great men.

9 But as it is written:

*"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

18 *the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is *the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

3 as His *divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him *who called us by glory and virtue,

5 *Now hope does not disappoint, *because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

32 *He who did not spare His own Son, but *delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

14 but *whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him *will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, *that your joy may be *full.

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but *if I depart, I will send Him to you.

14 *I press toward the goal for the prize of *the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

6 Blessed are those who *hunger and thirst for righteousness,

*For they shall be filled.

2 Therefore, *when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

6 But you, when you pray, *go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

14 Seek good and not evil,

That you may live;

So the Lord God of hosts will be with you,

*As you have spoken.

6 I spread out my hands to You;

*My soul longs for You like a thirsty land.

12 I know that nothing is*better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, 13 and also that *every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.

18 Here is what I have seen: *Itis good and fitting forone to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; *for it is his heritage.

19 As for *every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the *gift of God.

33 You shall walk in *all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live *and thatitmaybe well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.

Seeing the Invisible

16 Therefore we *do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is *being renewed day by day.

6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

10 *Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

23 For *the wages of sin is death, but *the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

27 But the *anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and *you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing *teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

32 And *we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit *whom God has given to those who obey Him."

12 Then the Lord said to Moses, *"Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you *tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them."
