Reino
O Reino de Deus é o tema central da pregação de Jesus. Desde o início de seu ministério, Ele proclamou: 'Arrependei-vos, porque é chegado o Reino dos céus.'
O anúncio do Reino
Jesus inaugurou seu ministério proclamando a chegada do Reino. Ele convida todos ao arrependimento e à fé nessa nova realidade.
17 From that time Jesus began to preach. »Repent,« He said, »for the Kingdom of the Heavens is now close at hand.«
15 »The time has fully come,« He said, »and the Kingdom of God is close at hand: repent, and believe this Good News.
9 Cure the sick in that town, and tell them, »The Kingdom of God is now at your door.'
A natureza do Reino
O Reino de Deus é governo soberano do Senhor sobre todas as coisas. Ele é o Rei eterno, imortal e invisível.
17 Now to the immortal and invisible King of the Ages, who alone is God, be honour and glory to the Ages of the Ages! Amen.
Entrar no Reino
Para entrar no Reino é preciso nascer de novo, tornar-se como criança e buscar primeiro a justiça de Deus acima de tudo.
3 »In most solemn truth I tell you,« answered Jesus, »that unless a man is born anew he cannot see the Kingdom of God.«
5 »In most solemn truth I tell you,« replied Jesus, »that unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
33 But make His Kingdom and righteousness your chief aim, and then these things shall all be given you in addition.
14 Jesus however said, »Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for it is to those who are childlike that the Kingdom of the Heavens belongs.«
10 »Blessed are those who have borne persecution in the cause of Righteousness, for to them belongs the Kingdom of the Heavens.«
19 I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of the Heavens; and whatever you bind on earth shall remain bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall remain loosed in Heaven.«
Cidadãos do Reino
Os cristãos são concidadãos dos santos e membros da família de Deus, chamados a viver dignamente do Reino que receberam.
19 You are therefore no longer mere foreigners or persons excluded from civil rights. On the contrary you share citizenship with God's people and are members of His family.20 You are a building which has been reared on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, the cornerstone being Christ Jesus Himself,
32 »Dismiss your fears, little flock: your Father finds a pleasure in giving you the Kingdom.«
6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the First Resurrection. The Second Death has no power over them, but they shall be priests to God and to Christ, and shall be kings with Christ for the thousand years.
9 Do you not know that unrighteous men will not inherit God's Kingdom? Cherish no delusion here. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor any who are guilty of unnatural crime,10 nor theives, nor avaricious people, nor any who are addicted to hard drinking, to abusive language or to greed of gain, will inherit God's Kingdom.
