O que é sabedoria segundo a Bíblia

Na Bíblia, sabedoria não é mero acúmulo de informações nem inteligência teórica, mas a habilidade prática de viver e tomar decisões retas segundo a vontade de Deus. Essa sabedoria tem um ponto de partida indispensável: o temor do Senhor — uma postura de reverência, respeito e humilde reconhecimento de quem Deus é.

Quem busca sabedoria longe do Criador constrói sobre bases frágeis. Em Provérbios e nos livros poéticos, o verdadeiro discernimento nasce quando colocamos Deus no centro da vida cotidiana.

The fear of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] the beginning of knowledge: [but] fools despise wisdom and instruction.(Mishlei - Proverbs 1:7)

The fear of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.(Mishlei - Proverbs 9:10)

The fear of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] the instruction of wisdom; and before honour [is] humility.(Mishlei - Proverbs 15:33)

The fear of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endures forever.(Tehillim - Psalms 111:10)

But where shall wisdom be found? and where [is] the place of understanding?

Man knows not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

The depth says, It [is] not in me: and the sea says, [It is] not with me.

It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed [for] the price thereof.

It cannot be valued with the gold of Ofir [reducing to ashes], with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it [shall not be for] jewels of fine gold.

No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom [is] above rubies.

The topaz of Ethiopia [Kush] shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

Whence then comes wisdom? and where [is] the place of understanding?

Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.

Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.(Job 28:12-22)

Como pedir e receber sabedoria de Deus

A sabedoria bíblica não é conquistada apenas por esforço intelectual, mas recebida como dádiva divina. Deus não esconde o discernimento de quem o procura com sinceridade; ao contrário, a promessa bíblica é que Ele concede sabedoria com generosidade a todo aquele que pede com fé.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God-The Father, that gives to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.(Jacob 1:5)

Yea, if youi cry after knowledge, [and] lifts up youi voice for understanding;

Then shall youi understand the fear of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], and find the knowledge of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].(Mishlei - Proverbs 2:3,5)

For the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] gives wisdom: out of his mouth [cometh] knowledge and understanding.(Mishlei - Proverbs 2:6)

As for these four children, God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Dani’el [God is Judge] had understanding in all visions and dreams.(Daniel 1:17)

Dani’el [God is Judge] answered and said, Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) be the name of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] forever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:(Daniel 2:20)

I thank youi, and praise youi, O youi God-Elah [an oak] of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have made known unto me now what we desired of youi: for youi have [now] made known unto us the king’s matter.(Daniel 2:23)

A sabedoria divina e a sabedoria humana

O Novo Testamento estabelece um contraste nítido entre a sabedoria do alto e a sabedoria terrena. Enquanto a lógica do mundo frequentemente valoriza a ambição egoísta, a autossuficiência e a esperteza, a sabedoria de Deus se manifesta em caráter: pureza, mansidão, misericórdia e frutos de justiça.

Who [is] a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good Conversation (behavior; way of life; community) his works with meekness of wisdom.(Jacob 3:13)

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.(Jacob 3:17)

But we preach Moshiach [Messiah] crucified, unto the Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah] a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks [unstable: miry ones] foolishness;

But unto them which are called, both Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah] and Greeks [unstable: miry ones], Moshiach [Messiah] the power of God-The Father, and the wisdom of God-The Father.

Because the foolishness of God-The Father is wiser than men; and the weakness of God-The Father is stronger than men.(1 Corinthians 1:23-25)

However we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nothing:

But we speak the wisdom of God-The Father in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God-The Father ordained before the world unto our glory:(1 Corinthians 2:6,7)

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.(1 Corinthians 3:18)

That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God-The Father, and of the Father, and of Moshiach [Messiah];

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.(Colossians 2:2,3)

Direção e discernimento para tomar decisões

Buscar sabedoria é essencial nos momentos de encruzilhada. As Escrituras ensinam que a direção de Deus não costuma anular a reflexão, mas transforma a confiança: em vez de depender exclusivamente do próprio entendimento, o sábio entrega seus passos ao Senhor e busca ser guiado com mansidão.

Trust in the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] with all youi heart; and lean not unto youi own understanding.

In all youi ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct youi paths.(Mishlei - Proverbs 3:5,6)

Be not wise in youi own eyes: fear the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], and depart from evil.(Mishlei - Proverbs 3:7)

Show me youri ways, O LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]; teach me youi paths.

Lead me in youri truth, and teach me: for youi [are] the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of my salvation; on youi do I wait all the day.(Tehillim - Psalms 25:4,5)

Teach me youri way, O LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.(Tehillim - Psalms 27:11)

I will instruct youi and teach youi in the way which youi shall go: I will guide youi with mine eye.(Tehillim - Psalms 32:8)

The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]: and he delights in his way.(Tehillim - Psalms 37:23)

Cause me to hear youri lovingkindness in the morning; for in youi do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto youi.(Tehillim - Psalms 143:8)

Teach me to do youri will; for youi [are] my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: youri spirit [is] good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Quicken me, O LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], for youri name’s sake: for youri righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.(Tehillim - Psalms 143:10,11)

A Palavra de Deus como fonte de discernimento

A revelação bíblica é o padrão pelo qual toda escolha deve ser avaliada. O salmista descreve a instrução do Senhor como lâmpada para os pés — suficiente para dar o próximo passo com segurança em meio à escuridão e proteger de caminhos enganosos.

Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [is] the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]; and in his law does he meditate day and night.(Tehillim - Psalms 1:1,2)

When youi go, it shall lead youi; when youi sleep, it shall keep youi; and [when] youi awake, it shall talk with youi.(Mishlei - Proverbs 6:22)

Let the word of Moshiach [Messiah] dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord - Kurios.(Colossians 3:16)

Sabedoria prática no dia a dia

A sabedoria bíblica se prova nas situações comuns: no controle da fala, na capacidade de ouvir críticas, na administração do tempo e no trato com as pessoas. Quem cultiva a prudência aprende a frear a impulsividade e a valorizar o conselho maduro.

See then that you2f walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.(Ephesians 5:15,16)

A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:(Mishlei - Proverbs 1:5)

He that keeps his mouth keeps his life: [but] he that opens wide his lips shall have destruction.(Mishlei - Proverbs 13:3)

[He that is] slow to wrath [is] of great understanding: but [he that is] hasty of spirit exalts folly.(Mishlei - Proverbs 14:29)

Even a fool, when he holds his peace, is counted wise: [and] he that shuts his lips [is esteemed] a man of understanding.(Mishlei - Proverbs 17:28)

A fool has no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover (uncover; reveal; have first sight of) itself.(Mishlei - Proverbs 18:2)

And whatsoever you2f do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord - Kurios, and not unto men;

Knowing that of the Lord - Kurios you2f shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for you2f serve the Lord - Kurios Moshiach [Messiah].(Colossians 3:23,24)

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

Let your speech [be] always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you2f may know how you2f ought to answer every man.(Colossians 4:5,6)

O valor de uma vida sábia

A Bíblia coloca a sabedoria acima de ouro, prata e pedras preciosas. Bens materiais podem ser perdidos em um instante, mas o discernimento concedido por Deus protege a vida, preserva a integridade e produz frutos duradouros de paz e justiça.

For whoso finds me finds life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate].(Mishlei - Proverbs 8:35)

The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, [is] from the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate].(Mishlei - Proverbs 16:1)

A man’s heart devises his way: but the LORD-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] directs his steps.(Mishlei - Proverbs 16:9)

How much better [is it] to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!(Mishlei - Proverbs 16:16)

For [God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]] gives to a man that [is] good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to [him that is] good before God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]. This also [is] vanity and anguish of spirit.(Ecclesiastes 2:26)

For wisdom [is] a defense, [and] money [is] a defense: but the excellency of knowledge [is, that] wisdom gives life to them that have it.(Ecclesiastes 7:12)

Whatsoever youi hand finds to do, do [it] with youi might; for [there is] no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, to which youi go.(Ecclesiastes 9:10)

A sabedoria soberana do Criador

O entendimento humano é limitado pelo tempo e pela nossa própria fragilidade, mas os caminhos de Deus são perfeitos e insondáveis. Ter sabedoria diante da soberania divina é aprender a contar os dias com humildade, confiando no propósito do Criador mesmo quando não compreendemos todos os detalhes da caminhada.

Have youi not known? have youi not heard, [that] Elohe Olam [The Eternal Living Word], Yehovah Borei K’tzit Ha’aretz [Messiah Pre-Incarnate the Creator of the ends of the earth], faints not, neither is weary? [there is] no searching of his understanding.(Isaiah 40:28)

For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, says the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).(Isaiah 55:8)

For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.(Isaiah 55:9)

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God-The Father! how unsearchable [are] his judgments, and his ways past finding out!(Romans 11:33)

To God-The Father only wise, [be] glory through Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah] forever. Amen. [[Written to the Romans [strength] from Corinthus, [and sent] by Phebe [radiant] slave of the church at Cenchrea [millet].]](Romans 16:27)

He has showed youi, O man, what [is] good; and what does the LORD-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) require of youi, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with youri God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]?(Micah 6:8)

Again he said to them: "Everyone who hears these my words and does them is like a wise man who built his house on a rock".(Gosel 7:24)
