Salvação
A salvação é a obra suprema de Deus. Pela graça, mediante a fé, somos salvos — não por obras, para que ninguém se glorie. É o presente mais precioso que a humanidade pode receber.
A salvação pela graça
A salvação é dom de Deus, não resultado de esforço humano. Somos justificados pela fé em Cristo Jesus e reconciliados com Deus pelo seu amor.
8 For by grace are all of you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; (o. pneuma)
9 Who has saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet possibly for a good man some would even dare to die.8 But God commends his love (o. agape) toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
O caminho da salvação
Quem confessa Jesus como Senhor e crê em sua ressurreição será salvo. A fé em Cristo é o único caminho para a salvação.
9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in yours heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.10 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Nova vida em Cristo
Quem está em Cristo é nova criação. A salvação não é apenas perdão, mas transformação completa — de dentro para fora, para a glória de Deus.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Segurança eterna
O crente tem a certeza da salvação. Ninguém pode arrebatar da mão de Deus aqueles que Ele chamou, justificou e glorificou.
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
36 He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.
8 Whom having not seen, all of you love; in whom, though now all of you see him not, yet believing, all of you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
16 He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned.
A salvação presente e futura
A salvação é passada (justificação), presente (santificação) e futura (glorificação). Deus nos salva, nos guarda e nos conduz à vida eterna.
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Nada é impossível para Deus
Aos homens é impossível, mas para Deus tudo é possível. Ele deseja que todos sejam salvos e cheguem ao conhecimento da verdade.
27 And Jesus looking upon them says, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

10 For the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
47 For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set you to be a light of the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
13 Enter all of you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.
9 Know all of you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionists, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
52 And Jesus said unto him, Go your way; your faith has made you whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
1 Truly my soul waits upon God: from him comes my salvation.
35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.36 You have enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
4 Since you were precious in my sight, you have been honourable, and I have loved you: therefore will I give men for you, and people for your life.
