O sangue de Jesus é o fundamento da redenção cristã. Através do seu sangue derramado na cruz, recebemos perdão, purificação e acesso à presença de Deus.
O poder redentor do sangue
O sangue de Cristo é o preço do nosso resgate. Sem derramamento de sangue não há remissão de pecados, e Cristo ofereceu o sacrifício perfeito e definitivo.
In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.
Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.
For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates to make his people holy by means of his own blood.
You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel.
Perdão e purificação
O sangue de Jesus nos purifica de todo pecado. Nele temos redenção e perdão, segundo as riquezas de sua graça.
But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.
But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
for this is my blood, which confirms the covenantbetween God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.
and from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world.
All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.
For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,
And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation.
O sangue da aliança
Desde o Êxodo, o sangue é sinal de aliança entre Deus e seu povo. O sangue do Cordeiro pascal prefigurava o sacrifício supremo de Cristo.
Then Moses called all the elders of Israel together and said to them, "Go, pick out a lamb or young goat for each of your families, and slaughter the Passover animal. Drain the blood into a basin. Then take a bundle of hyssop branches and dip it into the blood. Brush the hyssop across the top and sides of the doorframes of your houses. And no one may go out through the door until morning. For the Lord will pass through the land to strike down the Egyptians. But when he sees the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe, the Lord will pass over your home. He will not permit his death angel to enter your house and strike you down.
for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the Lord. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.
But you must never eat any meat that still has the lifeblood in it.
"And I will require the blood of anyone who takes another person’s life. If a wild animal kills a person, it must die. And anyone who murders a fellow human must die. If anyone takes a human life, that person’s life will also be taken by human hands. For God made human beings in his own image.
This will ensure that the land where you live will not be polluted, for murder pollutes the land. And no sacrifice except the execution of the murderer can purify the land from murder.
Vitória pelo sangue
Os cristãos vencem o acusador pelo sangue do Cordeiro e pela palavra do seu testemunho. O sangue comprou para Deus gente de toda tribo e língua.
And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb
and by their testimony.
And they did not love their lives so much
that they were afraid to die.
For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.
"So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—his church, purchased with his own blood—over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders.
So Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you.But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day.
And Jesus Christ was revealed as God’s Son by his baptism in water and by shedding his blood on the cross—not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with his testimony.
