18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, "I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
10 Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith —of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire —may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
49 It was also called Mizpah, "because he said, "May the LORD keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other.
27 I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.28 So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD." And he worshiped the LORD there.
7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ
