A confiabilidade é uma marca do caráter cristão. A Bíblia exalta aqueles que são fiéis em suas palavras, compromissos e na missão que Deus lhes confiou.
Fidelidade como vocação
Ser de confiança é refletir o caráter de Deus, que é fiel em todas as suas promessas. A fidelidade se prova nas pequenas e grandes coisas.
45 »Who therefore is the loyal and intelligent servant to whom his master has entrusted the control of his household to give them their rations at the appointed time?«
22 And you will be objects of universal hatred because you are called by my name; but he who holds out to the End–he will be saved.
Integridade e verdade
O cristão confiável fala a verdade, cumpre suas promessas e persevera até o fim, mesmo quando o caminho é difícil.
15 But we shall lovingly hold to the truth, and shall in all respects grow up into union with Him who is our Head, even Christ.16 Dependent on Him, the whole body –its various parts closely fitting and firmly adhering to one another– grows by the aid of every contributory link, with power proportioned to the need of each individual part, so as to build itself up in a spirit of love.
10 Dismiss your fears concerning all that you are about to suffer. I tell you that the Devil is about to throw some of you into prison that you may be put to the test, and for ten days you will have to endure persecution. Be faithful to the End, even if you have to die, and then I will give you the victor's Wreath of Life.
