A sexualidade no plano de Deus
Desde a criação, Deus projetou a intimidade sexual como expressão de amor entre marido e mulher, abençoando a união conjugal.
So God created human beings in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
Then God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground."
This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.
"Haven’t you read the Scriptures?" Jesus replied. "They record that from the beginning ‘God made them male and female.’"And he said, "‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together."
Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you.
Rejoice in the wife of your youth.
She is a loving deer, a graceful doe.
Let her breasts satisfy you always.
May you always be captivated by her love.
A santidade na intimidade
O leito conjugal é honroso. A Bíblia celebra a alegria da intimidade dentro do casamento e orienta o casal ao amor e respeito mútuo.
Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.
The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife.
But if they can’t control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. It’s better to marry than to burn with lust.
Didn’t the Lord make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth.
Don’t you realize that your bodies are actually parts of Christ? Should a man take his body, which is part of Christ, and join it to a prostitute? Never! And don’t you realize that if a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? For the Scriptures say, "The two are united into one."But the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him.
Pureza sexual
Deus nos chama à santificação e à fuga da imoralidade. O corpo do cristão é templo do Espírito Santo e deve ser tratado com honra.
Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.
God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor— not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways.
Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people.
But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy.
"You must not commit adultery.
"You must never have sexual relations with a close relative, for I am the Lord.
"Do not violate your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; you must not have sexual relations with her.
"Do not have sexual relations with any of your father’s wives, for this would violate your father.
"Do not have sexual relations with your sister or half sister, whether she is your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born into your household or someone else’s.
"Do not have sexual relations with your granddaughter, whether she is your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, for this would violate yourself.
"Do not have sexual relations with your stepsister, the daughter of any of your father’s wives, for she is your sister.
"Do not have sexual relations with your father’s sister, for she is your father’s close relative.
"Do not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s close relative.
"Do not violate your uncle, your father’s brother, by having sexual relations with his wife, for she is your aunt.
"Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law; she is your son’s wife, so you must not have sexual relations with her.
"Do not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife, for this would violate your brother.
"Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. And do not take her granddaughter, whether her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, and have sexual relations with her. They are close relatives, and this would be a wicked act.
"While your wife is living, do not marry her sister and have sexual relations with her, for they would be rivals.
"Do not have sexual relations with a woman during her period of menstrual impurity.
"Do not defile yourself by having sexual intercourse with your neighbor’s wife.
"Do not permit any of your children to be offered as a sacrifice to Molech, for you must not bring shame on the name of your God. I am the Lord.
"Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin.
"A man must not defile himself by having sex with an animal. And a woman must not offer herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it. This is a perverse act.
Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.
So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
