1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.3 Though an host should camp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.5 But I will forewarn you whom all of you shall fear: Fear him, which after he has killed has power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Confiança em Deus acima do medo
Quando tememos a Deus, o medo dos homens perde o poder. O Senhor está conosco, e se Ele é por nós, quem será contra nós?
3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in you.4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
22 All of you shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.
6 And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
