15 For we do not have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one who has been in all points tried like [we are, yet] without sin.

2 during forty days, being tried by the devil. And he ate nothing in those days: and when they were completed, he was hungry.

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God can't be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no man:

3 Knowing that the proving of your{} faith works patience.

13 No trial has taken you{} but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not allow you{} to be tried above what you{} are able; but will with the trial also make the way of escape, that you{} may be able to endure it.

9 the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment to the day of judgment;

13 Woe [to you{}], you{} who laugh now! For you{} will mourn and weep.

9 Lord, all my desire is before you; And my groaning is not hid from you.

20 And he said, That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.21 For from inside, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,22 greed, wickednesses, deceit, sexual immorality, an evil eye, railing, pride, foolishness:23 all these evil things proceed from inside, and defile the man.

1 Brothers, even if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you{} who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself, lest you also be tempted.

28 Or can one walk on hot coals, And his feet not be scorched?

12 Blessed is the man who endures trial; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which [the Lord] promised to those who love him.
