3 Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth.5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.

3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.

9 He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

21 Fathers, "do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.

17 Discipline your children, and they will give you peace; they will bring you the delights you desire.

5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew "you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
