Trabalho
23 and all, whatever you may do -- out of soul work -- as to the Lord, and not to men,
23 and all, whatever you may do -- out of soul work -- as to the Lord, and not to men,24 having known that from the Lord you shall receive the recompense of the inheritance -- for the Lord Christ you serve;
17 and all, whatever you may do in word or in work, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus -- giving thanks to the God and Father, through him.
7 with good-will serving, as to the Lord, and not to men people,8 having known that whatever good thing each one may do, this he shall receive from the Lord, whether servant or freeman free.
31 Whether, then, you eat, or drink, or do anything, do all to the glory of God;
58 so that, my brethren beloved, become you stedfast, unmovable, abounding in the work of the Lord at all times, knowing that your labour is not vain in the Lord.
14 let all your things be done in love.
Diligência e recompensa
A mão diligente enriquece, mas a preguiça traz pobreza. A Bíblia valoriza o esforço honesto, dedicado e perseverante em toda obra.
Planejamento e excelência
A excelência no trabalho honra a Deus. Devemos nos dedicar com competência, entregar nossos planos ao Senhor e buscar o melhor em cada tarefa.
15 be diligent to present yourself approved to God -- a workman irreproachable, rightly dividing the word of the truth;
15 be diligent to present yourself approved to God -- a workman irreproachable, rightly dividing the word of the truth;
16 every Writing is God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for setting aright correction, for instruction that is in righteousness,17 that the man person of God may be fitted equipped -- for every good work having been completed.
14 All things do without murmurings and reasonings,15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God, unblemished in the midst of a generation crooked and perverse, among whom you do appear as luminaries in the world,
O contentamento no trabalho
Deus nos dá a capacidade de desfrutar do nosso trabalho. Poder comer, beber e encontrar satisfação em nosso labor é um dom divino.
A responsabilidade cristã
O cristão deve trabalhar com suas próprias mãos, viver dignamente e ser exemplo de dedicação. Quem não trabalha, não coma.
10 for even when we were with you, this we did command you, that if any one is not willing to work, neither let him eat,11 for we hear of certain walking among you disorderly, nothing working, but over working,12 and such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness working, their own bread they may eat;
11 and to study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we did command you,12 that you may walk becomingly unto those without, and may have lack of nothing.
28 whosoever is stealing let him no more steal, but rather let him labour, working the thing that is good with the hands, that he may have to impart give to him having need.
8 and God is able all grace to cause to abound to you, that in every thing always all sufficiency having, you may abound to every good work,
9 there does remain, then, a sabbatic rest to the people of God,10 for he who did enter into his rest, he also rested from his works, as God from His own.
26 Look to the fowls of the heaven, for they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather into storehouses, and your heavenly Father does nourish them; are not you much better than they?
13 and who is he who will be doing you evil, if of Him who is good you may become imitators?
12 'Verily, verily, I say to you, he who is believing in me, the works that I do -- that one also shall do, and greater than these he shall do, because I go on to my Father;
24 but I make account of none of these, neither do I count my life precious to myself, so that I finish my course with joy, and the ministration that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify fully the good news of the grace of God.
8 See to yourselves that you may not lose the things that we wrought, but a full reward may receive;
