Trabalho
O trabalho é uma ordenança divina desde a criação. Deus colocou o homem no jardim para cultivar e guardar, revelando que o labor é parte do propósito humano e um meio de glorificá-lo.
Trabalho como vocação divina
Deus nos criou para trabalhar com propósito. O trabalho é expressão da imagem divina em nós e deve ser feito como para o Senhor.
23 And whatsoever ye do do it hertely as though ye did it to the lorde and not vnto men for as moche as ye

7 with good will servinge ye Lorde and not men.8 And remember that whatsoever good thinge eny man doeth that shall he receave agayne of the Lorde whether he be bonde or fre.
31 Whether therfore ye eate or dryncke or what soever ye do do all to the prayse of God.
58 Therfore my deare brethren be ye stedfast and unmovable alwayes ryche in the workes of the Lorde for as moch as ye knowe how yt youre labour is not in vayne in the Lorde.
14 Let all youre busynes be done in love.

A mão diligente enriquece, mas a preguiça traz pobreza. A Bíblia valoriza o esforço honesto, dedicado e perseverante em toda obra.
Planejamento e excelência
A excelência no trabalho honra a Deus. Devemos nos dedicar com competência, entregar nossos planos ao Senhor e buscar o melhor em cada tarefa.

16 For all scripture geve by inspiracion of god is proffitable to teache to improve to amende and to instruct in rightewesnes17 yt ye man of god maye be perfect and prepared vnto all good workes.
14 Do all thynge with out murmurynge and disputynge15 that ye maye be fautelesse and pure and the sonnes of God with out rebuke in ye middes of a croked and a perverse nacion amonge which se that ye shyne as lightes in the worlde
O contentamento no trabalho
Deus nos dá a capacidade de desfrutar do nosso trabalho. Poder comer, beber e encontrar satisfação em nosso labor é um dom divino.
A responsabilidade cristã
O cristão deve trabalhar com suas próprias mãos, viver dignamente e ser exemplo de dedicação. Quem não trabalha, não coma.
10 For when we were with you this we warned you of yt yf ther were eny which wolde not worke that ye same shuld not eate.11 We have hearde saye no doute that ther are some which walke amonge you inordinatly and worke not at all but are besy bodies.12 Them that are soche we commaunde and exhorte by oure lorde Iesu Christ that they worke with quyetnes and eate their awne breed.
11 and that ye studye to be quyet and to medle with youre awne busynes and to worke with youre awne hondes as we commaunded you:12 that ye maye behave youre selves honestly towarde them that are with out and that nothinge be lackynge vnto you.
28 Let him yt stole steale no moare but let him rather laboure with his hondes some good thinge that he maye have to geve vnto him that nedeth.
8 God is able to make you ryche in all grace that ye in all thynges havynge sufficiet vnto the vttmoste maye be ryche vnto all manner good workes
9 There remayneth therfore yet a rest to ye people of God.10 For he yt is is entred into his rest doth cease from his awne workes as god did from his.
26 Beholde the foules of ye ayer: for they sowe not nether reepe nor yet cary into ye barnes: and yet youre hevely father fedeth the. Are ye not moche better the they?
13 Moreover who is it that will harme you yf ye folowe yt which is good?
12 Verely verely I saye vnto you: he that beleveth on me the workes that I doo the same shall he do and greater workes then these shall he do because I go vnto my father.
24 But none of tho thinges move me: nether is my lyfe dere vnto my selfe that I myght fulfill my course wt ioye and the ministracio which I have receaved of ye Lorde Iesu to testify the gospell of ye grace of god.
8 Loke on youre selves that we loose not that we have wrought: but that we maye have a full rewarde.
