17 From that time began Jesus to proclaim and to say, 'Reform you, for come near has the reign of the heavens.'
38 and Peter said unto them, 'Reform, and be baptized each of you on the name of Jesus Christ, to remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit,
19 reform you, therefore, and turn back, for your sins being blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
Renovação da mente
Paulo nos exorta a não nos conformar com o mundo, mas a sermos transformados pela renovação do entendimento. A mudança vem de dentro para fora.
2 and be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for your proving what is the will of God -- the good, and acceptable, and perfect.
18 and we all, with unveiled face, the glory of the Lord beholding in a mirror, to the same image are being transformed, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
5 Put to death, then, your members that are upon the earth -- whoredom, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and the covetousness, which is idolatry --
Os frutos da transformação
Uma vida transformada produz o fruto do Espírito: amor, alegria, paz, paciência, benignidade, bondade, fidelidade, mansidão e domínio próprio.
22 And the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law;
10 And I call upon you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that the same thing you may all say, and there may not be divisions among you, and you may be perfected in the same mind, and in the same judgment,
5 and the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God, and to the endurance of the Christ.
6 For in our being still ailing, Christ in due time did die for the impious;
14 but whoever may drink of the water that I will give him, may not thirst -- to the age; and the water that I will give him shall become in him a well of water, springing up to life age-during.'
