Tristeza
A tristeza faz parte da experiência humana, mas a Bíblia nos assegura que Deus está perto dos que sofrem. Ele enxuga as lágrimas e transforma a dor em esperança.
Deus consola os aflitos
O Senhor está perto dos quebrantados de coração. Mesmo no vale mais escuro, sua presença é refúgio e consolo para a alma que chora.
4 »Blessed are the mourners, for they shall be comforted.«
A alegria virá
A dor tem prazo de validade. A manhã de alegria sempre vem depois da noite de choro. Deus promete transformar o luto em dança.
3 And I heard a loud voice, which came from the throne, say, »God's dwelling place is among men and He will dwell among them and they shall be His peoples. Yes, God Himself will be among them.4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more; nor sorrow, nor wail of woe, nor pain; for the first things have passed away.«
16 They will never again be hungry or thirsty, and never again will the sun or any scorching heat trouble them.17 For the Lamb who is in front of the throne will be their Shepherd, and will guide them to watersprings of Life, and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.«
10 as sad, but we are always joyful; as poor, but we bestow wealth on many; as having nothing, and yet we securely possess all things.
Entregando a dor a Deus
Podemos lançar sobre o Senhor toda nossa ansiedade e tristeza, porque Ele cuida de nós com ternura e não nos abandona.
7 Throw the whole of your anxiety upon Him, because He Himself cares for you.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.
O choro e o arrependimento
Há tristezas que produzem arrependimento e conduzem à vida. O choro diante de Deus é acolhido e transformado em bênção.
30 And beware of grieving the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you have been sealed in preparation for the day of Redemption.
