Cada ser humano é precioso aos olhos de Deus. As Escrituras revelam que fomos criados à imagem divina, resgatados por alto preço e chamados para um propósito eterno.
O valor que Deus nos dá
Nosso valor não vem de conquistas ou aparências, mas do fato de sermos amados pelo Criador. Deus cuida até dos passarinhos — quanto mais de nós!
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father.30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.31 Fear not therefore: better are you than many sparrows.
12 How much better is a man than a sheep? Therefore it it lawful to do a good deed on the sabbath days.

Preciosos aos olhos de Deus
O Senhor declara que somos preciosos e valiosos aos seus olhos. Ele nos chama de propriedade exclusiva e nos reveste de glória.
4 Since thou becamest honourable in my eyes, thou art glorious: I have loved thee, and I will give men for thee, and people for thy life.
5 If therefore you will hear my voice, and keep my covenant, you shall be my peculiar possession above all people: for all the earth is mine.
1 Arise, be enlightened, O Jerusalem: for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
O verdadeiro valor
A Bíblia nos ensina que a fé, a integridade e o caráter são mais valiosos que ouro ou prata. O que tem valor eterno transcende o material.
6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision: but faith that worketh by charity.
3 Let not mercy and truth leave thee, put them about thy neck, and write them in the tables of thy heart:4 And thou shalt And grace and good understanding before God and men.
20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver: but the heart of the wicked is nothing worth.

24 But I fear none of these things, neither do I count my life more precious than myself, so that I may consummate my course and the ministry of the word which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
