Then the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.(Genesis 2:7)

For Thou hast made my reins; Thou hast knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks unto Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My frame was not hidden from Thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance, and in Thy book they were all written — even the days that were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.(Psalms 139:13-16)

(36-10) For with Thee is the fountain of life; in Thy light do we see light.(Psalms 36:9)

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.(Psalms 104:33)

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Hallelujah.(Psalms 150:6)

The days of our years are threescore years and ten, or even by reason of strength fourscore years; yet is their pride but travail and vanity; for it is speedily gone, and we fly away.(Psalms 90:10)

So teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom.(Psalms 90:12)

(39-5) 'LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; let me know how short-lived I am. (39-6) Behold, Thou hast made my days as hand-breadths; and mine age is as nothing before Thee; surely every man at his best estate is altogether vanity. Selah (39-7) Surely man walketh as a mere semblance; surely for vanity they are in turmoil; he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.(Psalms 39:4-6)

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:(Ecclesiastes 3:1)

The hoary head is a crown of glory, it is found in the way of righteousness.(Proverbs 16:31)

Prioridades e o perigo do apego material

Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.(Proverbs 4:10)

Above all that thou guardest keep thy heart; for out of it are the issues of life.(Proverbs 4:23)

He is in the way of life that heedeth instruction; but he that forsaketh reproof erreth.(Proverbs 10:17)

He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life; but for him that openeth wide his lips there shall be ruin.(Proverbs 13:3)

The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.(Proverbs 14:27)

He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul; he that keepeth understanding shall find good.(Proverbs 19:8)

He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, prosperity, and honour.(Proverbs 21:21)

As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.(Proverbs 27:19)

in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances; then thou shalt live and multiply, and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.(Deuteronomy 30:16)

Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.(Exodus 20:12)

(34-13) Who is the man that desireth life, and loveth days, that he may see good therein? (34-14) Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. (34-15) Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.(Psalms 34:12-14)

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.(Psalms 23:6)

One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the graciousness of the LORD, and to visit early in His temple.(Psalms 27:4)

(31-4) For Thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for Thy name’s sake lead me and guide me.(Psalms 31:3)

Resign thyself unto the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.(Psalms 37:7)

My flesh and my heart faileth; but God is the rock of my heart and my portion for ever.(Psalms 73:26)

I will never forget Thy precepts; for with them Thou hast quickened me.(Psalms 119:93)

The LORD shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul. The LORD shall guard thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for ever.(Psalms 121:7,8)
