Vitória
A vitória do cristão não depende de suas próprias forças, mas do poder de Deus que opera em nós. As Escrituras declaram que somos mais que vencedores por meio daquele que nos amou.
A vitória vem de Deus
O Senhor luta por nós. Quando confiamos nele, nenhuma arma forjada contra nós prosperará e nenhum inimigo prevalecerá.
4 For LORD your God is he who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
8 And LORD said to Joshua, Fear them not, for I have delivered them into thy hands. There shall not a man of them stand before thee.
31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle, but victory is from LORD.
3 For they did not get the land in possession by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them, but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou were favorable to them.4 Thou are my King, O God. Command deliverance for Jacob.
Mais que vencedores
Em todas as circunstâncias, a fé nos dá a vitória. O mundo tenta nos derrubar, mas Cristo já venceu o mundo e nos faz triunfar.
4 Because everything that has been begotten from God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.
37 But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor heavenly agents, nor principal positions, nor powers, nor things that have come, nor things that are coming,39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
31 What then will we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
55 O death, where is thy sting? O Hades, where is thy victory?56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.57 But thanks is to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Força para a batalha
Deus nos reveste com sua armadura espiritual, nos fortalece e nos encoraja. Mesmo que o justo caia sete vezes, ele se levanta.
13 Because of this take ye up the full armor of God, so that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
16 For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises up again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
13 Through God we shall do valiantly, for he it is who will tread down our adversaries.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, [but] it shall not come near thee.
13 I can do all things in the Christ who strengthens me.
