Vitória
A vitória do cristão não depende de suas próprias forças, mas do poder de Deus que opera em nós. As Escrituras declaram que somos mais que vencedores por meio daquele que nos amou.
A vitória vem de Deus
O Senhor luta por nós. Quando confiamos nele, nenhuma arma forjada contra nós prosperará e nenhum inimigo prevalecerá.
4 »Jehovah your God is going with you. He will fight for you against your enemies and give you victory.
8 Jehovah said to Joshua: »Do not fear them. I have delivered them into your hands. Not one man of them will stand before you.«
31 The horse has prepared the day of battle. However, deliverance is from Jehovah.
3 It was not with their swords that they took possession of the land. They did not gain victory with their own strength. It was your right hand, your arm power, and the light of your presence that did it, because you were pleased with them.4 You alone are my king, O God. You won those victories for Jacob.
Mais que vencedores
Em todas as circunstâncias, a fé nos dá a vitória. O mundo tenta nos derrubar, mas Cristo já venceu o mundo e nos faz triunfar.
4 Everything born from God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world, even our faith.
37 In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Ephesians 6:12)
31 What shall we then say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
55 »O death, where is your sting power to hurt? O grave, where is your victory?«56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.57 But thanks to God, because he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Força para a batalha
Deus nos reveste com sua armadura espiritual, nos fortalece e nos encoraja. Mesmo que o justo caia sete vezes, ele se levanta.
13 For that reason, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, having done everything, to stand firm.
16 A righteous man falls seven times and rises up again. but the wicked will fall by evil.
13 Through God we shall have great strength: for he shall tread down our enemies.
7 They will not come near you, even though a thousand may fall dead beside you or ten thousand at your right side.
13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
