Jeremias 25 - Bíblia Online

A palavra que veio a Jeremias acerca de todo o povo de Judá no quarto ano de Jeoiaquim, filho de Josias, rei de Judá (que é o primeiro ano de Nabucodonosor, rei de babilônia), 
A qual anunciou o profeta Jeremias a todo o povo de Judá, e a todos os habitantes de Jerusalém, dizendo: 
Desde o ano treze de Josias, filho de Amom, rei de Judá, até o dia de hoje, período de vinte e três anos, tem vindo a mim a palavra do Senhor, e vo-la tenho anunciado, madrugando e falando; mas vós não escutastes. 
Também vos enviou o Senhor todos os seus servos, os profetas, madrugando e enviando-os, mas vós não escutastes, nem inclinastes os vossos ouvidos para ouvir, 
Quando diziam: Convertei-vos agora cada um do seu mau caminho, e da maldade das suas ações, e habitai na terra que o Senhor vos deu, e a vossos pais, para sempre. 
E não andeis após outros deuses para os servirdes, e para vos inclinardes diante deles, nem me provoqueis à ira com a obra de vossas mãos, para que não vos faça mal. 
Porém não me destes ouvidos, diz o Senhor, mas me provocastes à ira com a obra de vossas mãos, para vosso mal. 
Portanto assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Visto que não escutastes as minhas palavras, 
Eis que eu enviarei, e tomarei a todas as famílias do norte, diz o SENHOR, como também a Nabucodonosor, rei de babilônia, meu servo, e os trarei sobre esta terra, e sobre os seus moradores, e sobre todas estas nações em redor, e os destruirei totalmente, e farei que sejam objeto de espanto, e de assobio, e de perpétuas desolações. 
E farei desaparecer dentre eles a voz de gozo, e a voz de alegria, a voz do esposo, e a voz da esposa, como também o som das mós, e a luz do candeeiro. 
E toda esta terra virá a ser um deserto e um espanto; e estas nações servirão ao rei de babilônia setenta anos. 
Acontecerá, porém, que, quando se cumprirem os setenta anos, visitarei o rei de babilônia, e esta nação, diz o SENHOR, castigando a sua iniqüidade, e a da terra dos caldeus; farei deles ruínas perpétuas. 
E trarei sobre aquela terra todas as minhas palavras, que disse contra ela, a saber, tudo quanto está escrito neste livro, que profetizou Jeremias contra todas estas nações. 
Porque também deles se servirão muitas nações e grandes reis; assim lhes retribuirei segundo os seus feitos, e segundo as obras das suas mãos. 
Porque assim me disse o Senhor Deus de Israel: Toma da minha mão este copo do vinho do furor, e darás a beber dele a todas as nações, às quais eu te enviarei. 
Para que bebam e tremam, e enlouqueçam, por causa da espada, que eu enviarei entre eles. 
E tomei o copo da mão do Senhor, e dei a beber a todas as nações, às quais o Senhor me enviou; 
A Jerusalém, e às cidades de Judá, e aos seus reis, e aos seus príncipes, para fazer deles uma desolação, um espanto, um assobio, e uma maldição, como hoje se vê; 
A Faraó, rei do Egito, e a seus servos, e a seus príncipes, e a todo o seu povo; 
E a toda a mistura de povo, e a todos os reis da terra de Uz, e a todos os reis da terra dos filisteus, e a Ascalom, e a Gaza, e a Ecrom, e ao remanescente de Asdode, 
E a Edom, e a Moabe, e aos filhos de Amom; 
E a todos os reis de Tiro, e a todos os reis de Sidom; e aos reis das ilhas que estão além do mar; 
A Dedã, e a Tema, e a Buz e a todos os que estão nos lugares mais distantes. 
E a todos os reis da Arábia, e todos os reis do povo misto que habita no deserto; 
E a todos os reis de Zinri, e a todos os reis de Elão, e a todos os reis da Média; 
E a todos os reis do norte, os de perto, e os de longe, tanto um como o outro, e a todos os reinos do mundo, que estão sobre a face da terra, e o rei de Sesaque beberá depois deles. 
Pois lhes dirás: Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, o Deus de Israel: Bebei, e embebedai-vos, e vomitai, e caí, e não torneis a levantar-vos, por causa da espada que eu vos enviarei. 
E será que, se não quiserem tomar o copo da tua mão para beber, então lhes dirás: Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Certamente bebereis. 
Porque, eis que na cidade que se chama pelo meu nome começo a castigar; e ficareis vós totalmente impunes? Não ficareis impunes, porque eu chamo a espada sobre todos os moradores da terra, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos. 
Tu, pois, lhes profetizarás todas estas palavras, e lhes dirás: O Senhor desde o alto bramirá, e fará ouvir a sua voz desde a morada da sua santidade; terrivelmente bramirá contra a sua habitação, com grito de alegria, como dos que pisam as uvas, contra todos os moradores da terra. 
Chegará o estrondo até à extremidade da terra, porque o Senhor tem contenda com as nações, entrará em juízo com toda a carne; os ímpios entregará à espada, diz o Senhor. 
Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos: Eis que o mal passa de nação para nação, e grande tormenta se levantará dos confins da terra. 
E serão os mortos do Senhor, naquele dia, desde uma extremidade da terra até à outra; não serão pranteados, nem recolhidos, nem sepultados; mas serão por esterco sobre a face da terra. 
Uivai, pastores, e clamai, e revolvei-vos na cinza, principais do rebanho, porque já se cumpriram os vossos dias para serdes mortos, e dispersos, e vós então caireis como um vaso precioso. 
E não haverá refúgio para os pastores, nem salvamento para os principais do rebanho. 
Voz de grito dos pastores, e uivos dos principais do rebanho; porque o Senhor está destruindo o pasto deles. 
Porque as suas malhadas pacíficas serão desarraigadas, por causa do furor da ira do Senhor. 
Deixou a sua tenda, como o filho de leão; porque a sua terra foi posta em desolação, por causa do furor do opressor, e por causa do furor da sua ira. 

The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah (that is, the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon), 
which Jeremiah the prophet spoke unto all the people of Judah and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying: 
From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, the king of Judah, even unto this day, these three and twenty years, the word of Jehovah hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened. 
And Jehovah hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear, 
when they said, Turn again now every one from his evil way, and from the wickedness of your doings, and dwell in the land that Jehovah hath given unto you and to your fathers from of old even for ever. 
And go not after other gods, to serve them and to worship them; and provoke me not to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. 
But ye have not hearkened unto me, saith Jehovah; that ye might provoke me to anger with the work of your hands, to your own hurt. 
Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Because ye have not listened to my words, 
behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith Jehovah, and {I will send} to Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about; and I will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual wastes. 
And I will cause to perish from them the voice of mirth and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp. 
And this whole land shall become a waste, an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. 
And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, {that} I will visit on the king of Babylon and on that nation, saith Jehovah, their iniquity, and on the land of the Chaldeans, and I will make it perpetual desolations. 
And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations. 
For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also; and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the work of their hands. 
For thus hath Jehovah the God of Israel said unto me: Take the cup of the wine of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations to whom I send thee to drink it. 
And they shall drink, and reel to and fro, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them. 
And I took the cup at Jehovah's hand, and made all the nations to drink, to whom Jehovah had sent me: 
Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a waste, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day; 
Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people; 
and all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Gazah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod; 
Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon; 
and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles that are beyond the sea; 
Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that have the corners {of their beard} cut off; 
and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert; 
and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes; 
and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth; and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them. 
And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink, and be drunken, and vomit, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword that I will send among you. 
And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup from thy hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ye shall certainly drink. 
For behold, I begin to bring evil on the city that is called by my name, and should ye be altogether unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished; for I call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts. 
And thou, prophesy unto them all these words, and say unto them, Jehovah will roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he will mightily roar upon his dwelling-place, he will give a shout, as they that tread {the vintage}, against all the inhabitants of the earth. 
The noise shall come to the end of the earth: for Jehovah hath a controversy with the nations, he entereth into judgment with all flesh; as for the wicked, he will give them up to the sword, saith Jehovah. 
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great storm shall be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth. 
And the slain of Jehovah shall {be} at that day from {one} end of the earth even unto the {other} end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the face of the ground. 
Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves {in the dust}, noble ones of the flock: for the days of your slaughter are accomplished, and I will disperse you; and ye shall fall like a precious vessel. 
And refuge shall perish from the shepherds, and escape from the noble ones of the flock. 
There shall be a voice of the cry of the shepherds, and a howling of the noble ones of the flock: for Jehovah layeth waste their pasture; 
and the peaceable enclosures shall be desolated, because of the fierce anger of Jehovah. 
He hath forsaken his covert as a young lion; for their land is a desolation because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.
