16 They moved him to jealousy with strange [gods]. With abominations they provoked him to anger.17 They sacrificed to demons, not God, to gods that they knew not, to new [gods] that came up of late, which your fathers did not dread.18 Thou are unmindful of the Rock that begot thee, and have forgotten God who gave thee birth.
