Contentamento
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down on the ground, and worshipped,
21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother' womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith to be content.
15 And he said to them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man' life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ' sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
25 Therefore I say to you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor yet for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
8 Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it suffises us.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
