17 Se o nosso Deus, a quem servimos, quer livrar-nos, ele nos livrará da fornalha de fogo ardente e das tuas mãos, ó rei. 18 Se não, fica sabendo, ó rei, que não serviremos a teus deuses, nem adoraremos a imagem de ouro que levantaste.

17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of thy hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us "from Your Majesty's hand.

18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
