2 Toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel murmurou contra Moisés e Arão no deserto; 3 disseram-lhes os filhos de Israel: Quem nos dera tivéssemos morrido pela mão do Senhor, na terra do Egito, quando estávamos sentados junto às panelas de carne e comíamos pão a fartar! Pois nos trouxestes a este deserto, para matardes de fome toda esta multidão.

2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness: 3 and the children of Israel said unto them, Would that we had died by the hand of Jehovah in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh-pots, when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

2 In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron.

3 The Israelites said to them, "If only we had died by the LORD's hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death."
