21 E aconteceu que, ao ser todo o povo batizado, também o foi Jesus; e, estando ele a orar, o céu se abriu, 22 e o Espírito Santo desceu sobre ele em forma corpórea como pomba; e ouviu-se uma voz do céu: Tu és o meu Filho amado, em ti me comprazo.

21 Now it came to pass, when all the people were baptized, that, Jesus also having been baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form, as a dove, upon him, and a voice came out of heaven, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."
