1 Mas, nos últimos dias, acontecerá que o monte da Casa do Senhor será estabelecido no cimo dos montes e se elevará sobre os outeiros, e para ele afluirão os povos. 2 Irão muitas nações e dirão: Vinde, e subamos ao monte do Senhor e à casa do Deus de Jacó, para que nos ensine os seus caminhos, e andemos pelas suas veredas; porque de Sião procederá a lei, e a palavra do Senhor, de Jerusalém. 3 Ele julgará entre muitos povos e corrigirá nações poderosas e longínquas; estes converterão as suas espadas em relhas de arados e suas lanças, em podadeiras; uma nação não levantará a espada contra outra nação, nem aprenderão mais a guerra. 4 Mas assentar-se-á cada um debaixo da sua videira e debaixo da sua figueira, e não haverá quem os espante, porque a boca do Senhor dos Exércitos o disse. 5 Porque todos os povos andam, cada um em nome do seu deus; mas, quanto a nós, andaremos em o nome do Senhor, nosso Deus, para todo o sempre.

6 Naquele dia, diz o Senhor, congregarei os que coxeiam e recolherei os que foram expulsos e os que eu afligira. 7 Dos que coxeiam farei a parte restante e dos que foram arrojados para longe, uma poderosa nação; e o Senhor reinará sobre eles no monte Sião, desde agora e para sempre. 8 A ti, ó torre do rebanho, monte da filha de Sião, a ti virá; sim, virá o primeiro domínio, o reino da filha de Jerusalém.

9 Agora, por que tamanho grito? Não há rei em ti? Pereceu o teu conselheiro? Apoderou-se de ti a dor como da que está para dar à luz? 10 Sofre dores e esforça-te, ó filha de Sião, como a que está para dar à luz, porque, agora, sairás da cidade, e habitarás no campo, e virás até à Babilônia; ali, porém, serás libertada; ali, te remirá o Senhor das mãos dos teus inimigos.

11 Acham-se, agora, congregadas muitas nações contra ti, que dizem: Seja profanada, e vejam os nossos olhos o seu desejo sobre Sião. 12 Mas não sabem os pensamentos do Senhor, nem lhe entendem o plano que as ajuntou como feixes na eira. 13 Levanta-te e debulha, ó filha de Sião, porque farei de ferro o teu chifre e de bronze, as tuas unhas; e esmiuçarás a muitos povos, e o seu ganho será dedicado ao Senhor, e os seus bens, ao Senhor de toda a terra.

1 But in the latter days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of Jehovah’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem; 3 and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig-tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of Jehovah of hosts hath spoken it. 5 For all the peoples walk every one in the name of his god; and we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God for ever and ever.

6 In that day, saith Jehovah, will I assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted; 7 and I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Jehovah will reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth even for ever. 8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, yea, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.

9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee, is thy counsellor perished, that pangs have taken hold of thee as of a woman in travail? 10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and shalt dwell in the field, and shalt come even unto Babylon: there shalt thou be rescued; there will Jehovah redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies. 11 And now many nations are assembled against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye see our desire upon Zion. 12 But they know not the thoughts of Jehovah, neither understand they his counsel; for he hath gathered them as the sheaves to the threshing-floor. 13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; for I will make thy horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass; and thou shalt beat in pieces many peoples: and I will devote their gain unto Jehovah, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

1 In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.

2 Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

3 He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

4 Everyone will sit under their own vine and under their own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the LORD Almighty has spoken.

5 All the nations may walk in the name of their gods, but we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

6 "In that day," declares the LORD, "I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief.

7 I will make the lame my remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The LORD will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever.

8 As for you, watchtower of the flock, stronghold "of Daughter Zion, the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to Daughter Jerusalem."

9 Why do you now cry aloud — have you no king "? Has your ruler "perished, that pain seizes you like that of a woman in labor?

10 Writhe in agony, Daughter Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the LORD will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.

11 But now many nations are gathered against you. They say, "Let her be defiled, let our eyes gloat over Zion!"

12 But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD; they do not understand his plan, that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.

13 "Rise and thresh, Daughter Zion, for I will give you horns of iron; I will give you hooves of bronze, and you will break to pieces many nations." You will devote their ill-gotten gains to the LORD, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.
