1 فكونوا متمثلين بالله كاولاد احباء.2 واسلكوا في المحبة كما احبنا المسيح ايضا واسلم نفسه لاجلنا قربانا وذبيحة للّه رائحة طيبة3 واما الزنى وكل نجاسة او طمع فلا يسمّ بينكم كما يليق بقديسين4 ولا القباحة ولا كلام السفاهة والهزل التي لا تليق بل بالحري الشكر.5 فانكم تعلمون هذا ان كل زان او نجس او طماع الذي هو عابد للاوثان ليس له ميراث في ملكوت المسيح والله.6 لا يغركم احد بكلام باطل لانه بسبب هذه الامور يأتي غضب الله على ابناء المعصية.7 فلا تكونوا شركاءهم.8 لانكم كنتم قبلا ظلمة واما الآن فنور في الرب. اسلكوا كاولاد نور.9 لان ثمر الروح هو في كل صلاح وبر وحق.10 مختبرين ما هو مرضي عند الرب.11 ولا تشتركوا في اعمال الظلمة غير المثمرة بل بالحري وبخوها.12 لان الامور الحادثة منهم سرّا ذكرها ايضا قبيح.13 ولكن الكل اذا توبخ يظهر بالنور. لان كل ما اظهر فهو نور.14 لذلك يقول استيقظ ايها النائم وقم من الاموات فيضيء لك المسيح15 فانظروا كيف تسلكون بالتدقيق لا كجهلاء بل كحكماء16 مفتدين الوقت لان الايام شريرة.17 من اجل ذلك لا تكونوا اغبياء بل فاهمين ما هي مشيئة الرب.18 ولا تسكروا بالخمر الذي فيه الخلاعة بل امتلئوا بالروح19 مكلمين بعضكم بعضا بمزامير وتسابيح واغاني روحية مترنمين ومرتلين في قلوبكم للرب.20 شاكرين كل حين على كل شيء في اسم ربنا يسوع المسيح للّه والآب.21 خاضعين بعضكم لبعض في خوف الله22 ايها النساء اخضعن لرجالكنّ كما للرب.23 لان الرجل هو راس المرأة كما ان المسيح ايضا راس الكنيسة. وهو مخلّص الجسد.24 ولكن كما تخضع الكنيسة للمسيح كذلك النساء لرجالهنّ في كل شيء.25 ايها الرجال احبوا نساءكم كما احب المسيح ايضا الكنيسة واسلم نفسه لاجلها26 لكي يقدسها مطهرا اياها بغسل الماء بالكلمة27 لكي يحضرها لنفسه كنيسة مجيدة لا دنس فيها ولا غضن او شيء من مثل ذلك بل تكون مقدسة وبلا عيب.28 كذلك يجب على الرجال ان يحبوا نساءهم كاجسادهم. من يحب امرأته يحب نفسه.29 فانه لم يبغض احد جسده قط بل يقوته ويربيه كما الرب ايضا للكنيسة.30 لاننا اعضاء جسمه من لحمه ومن عظامه.31 من اجل هذا يترك الرجل اباه وامه ويلتصق بامرأته ويكون الاثنان جسدا واحدا.32 هذا السر عظيم ولكنني انا اقول من نحو المسيح والكنيسة.33 واما انتم الافراد فليحب كل واحد امرأته هكذا كنفسه واما المرأة فلتهب رجلها

1 Be you therefore followers of God, as dear children;2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling smell.3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becomes saints;4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.5 For this you know, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God on the children of disobedience.7 Be not you therefore partakers with them.8 For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)10 Proving what is acceptable to the Lord.11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatever does make manifest is light.14 Why he said, Awake you that sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light.15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.17 Why be you not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;20 Giving thanks always for all things to God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord.23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.24 Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
