1 فهوذا ياتي اليوم المتقد كالتنور وكل المستكبرين وكل فاعلي الشر يكونون قشا ويحرقهم اليوم الآتي قال رب الجنود فلا يبقي لهم اصلا ولا فرعا2 ولكم ايها المتّقون اسمي تشرق شمس البرّ والشفاء في اجنحتها فتخرجون وتنشأون كعجول الصيرة.3 وتدوسون الاشرار لانهم يكونون رمادا تحت بطون اقدامكم يوم افعل هذا قال رب الجنود4 اذكروا شريعة موسى عبدي التي أمرته بها في حوريب على كل اسرائيل الفرائض والاحكام5 هانذا ارسل اليكم ايليا النبي قبل مجيء يوم الرب اليوم العظيم والمخوف.6 فيرد قلب الآباء على الابناء وقلب الابناء على آبائهم لئلا آتي واضرب الارض بلعن

1 For, behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, said the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.2 But to you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and you shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.3 And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, said the LORD of hosts.4 Remember you the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
