1 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and the voice which I heard was as the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 and they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders: and no man could learn the song save the hundred and forty and four thousand, even they that had been purchased out of the earth. 4 These are they that were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they that follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, to be the firstfruits unto God and unto the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no lie: they are without blemish.

6 And I saw another angel flying in mid heaven, having eternal good tidings to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth, and unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people; 7 and he saith with a great voice, Fear God, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.

8 And another, a second angel, followed, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that hath made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, If any man worshippeth the beast and his image, and receiveth a mark on his forehead, or upon his hand, 10 he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 and the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day and night, they that worship the beast and his image, and whoso receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.

14 And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud I saw one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out from the temple, crying with a great voice to him that sat on the cloud, Send forth thy sickle, and reap: for the hour to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And he that sat on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out from the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, he that hath power over fire; and he called with a great voice to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Send forth thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel cast his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and cast it into the winepress, the great winepress, of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and there came out blood from the winepress, even unto the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

1 Apoi m-am uitat și iată că Mielul*Cap. 5:6. stătea pe muntele Sionului și împreună cu El stăteau o*Cap. 7:4. sută patruzeci și patru de mii, care*Cap. 7:3;13:16. aveau scris pe frunte Numele Său și Numele Tatălui Său. 2 Și am auzit venind din cer un glas ca*Cap. 1:15;19:6. un vuiet de ape mari, ca vuietul unui tunet puternic; și glasul pe care l-am auzit era ca al celor ce cântă cu alăuta*Cap. 5:8. și cântau*Cap. 5:9;15:3. din alăutele lor. 3 Cântau o cântare*Vers. 1. nouă înaintea scaunului de domnie, înaintea celor patru făpturi vii și înaintea bătrânilor. Și nimeni nu putea să învețe cântarea afară de cei o sută patruzeci și patru de mii, care fuseseră răscumpărați de pe pământ. 4 Ei nu s-au întinat cu femei, căci*2 Cor. 11:2. sunt verguri*14:4 Virgini., și*Cap. 3:4;7:15,17;17:14. urmează pe Miel oriunde merge El. Au fost*Cap. 5:9. răscumpărați dintre oameni, ca cel dintâi rod*Iac. 1:18. pentru Dumnezeu și pentru Miel. 5 Și în*Ps. 32:2.Ţef. 3:13. gura lor nu s-a găsit minciună, căci sunt*Efes. 5:26.Iuda 24. fără vină înaintea scaunului de domnie al lui Dumnezeu. 6 Și am văzut un alt înger, care zbura*Cap. 8:13. prin mijlocul cerului cu o*Efes. 3:3-11.Tit 1:2. Evanghelie veșnică, pentru ca s-o vestească locuitorilor pământului, oricărui*Cap. 13:7. neam, oricărei seminții, oricărei limbi și oricărui norod. 7 El zicea cu glas tare: „Temeți-vă*Cap. 1:18;15:4. de Dumnezeu și dați-I slavă, căci a venit ceasul judecății Lui, și închinați-vă*Neem. 9:6.Ps. 33:6;124:8;146:5,6.Fapte 14:15;17:24. Celui ce a făcut cerul și pământul, marea și izvoarele apelor!" 8 Apoi a urmat un alt înger, al doilea, și a zis: „A*Is. 21:9.Ier. 51:8. Cap. 18:2. căzut, a căzut Babilonul, cetatea*Ier. 51:7. Cap. 11:8;16:19;17:2,5;18:2,10,18,21;19:2. cea mare, care a adăpat toate neamurile din vinul mâniei curviei ei!" 9 Apoi a urmat un alt înger, al treilea, și a zis cu glas tare: „Dacă se închină cineva*Cap. 13:14-16. fiarei și icoanei ei și primește semnul ei pe frunte sau pe mână, 10 va bea*Ps. 75:8.Is. 51:17.Ier. 25:15. și el din vinul mâniei lui Dumnezeu, turnat*Cap. 18:6. neamestecat în*Cap. 16:19. paharul mâniei Lui, și va fi chinuit*Cap. 20:10. în foc*Cap. 19:20. și în pucioasă înaintea sfinților îngeri și înaintea Mielului. 11 Și fumul*Is. 34:10. Cap. 19:3. chinului lor se suie în sus în vecii vecilor. Și nici ziua, nici noaptea n-au odihnă cei ce se închină fiarei și icoanei ei și oricine primește semnul numelui ei! 12 Aici*Cap. 13:10. este răbdarea sfinților, care*Cap. 12:17. păzesc poruncile lui Dumnezeu și credința lui Isus." 13 Și am auzit un glas din cer care zicea: „Scrie: Ferice*Ecl. 4:1,2. Cap. 20:6. de acum încolo de morții care*1 Cor. 15:18.1 Tes. 4:16. mor în Domnul!" „Da", zice Duhul, „ei*2 Tes. 1:7.Evr. 4:9,10. Cap. 6:11. se vor odihni de ostenelile lor, căci faptele lor îi urmează!" 14 Apoi m-am uitat, și iată un nor alb; și pe nor ședea cineva care semăna*Ezec. 1:26.Dan. 7:13. Cap. 1:13. cu un fiu al omului; pe cap avea*Cap. 6:2. o cunună de aur, iar în mână, o seceră ascuțită. 15 Și un alt înger a*Cap. 16:17. ieșit din Templu și striga cu glas tare Celui ce ședea pe nor: „Pune secera*Ioel 3:13.Mat. 13:39. Ta și seceră, pentru că a venit ceasul să seceri și secerișul pământului*Ier. 51:33. Cap. 13:12. este copt." 16 Atunci, Cel ce ședea pe nor Și-a aruncat secera pe pământ. Și pământul a fost secerat. 17 Și din Templul care este în cer a ieșit un alt înger, care avea și el un cosor ascuțit. 18 Și un alt înger, care avea stăpânire asupra focului, a ieșit*Cap. 16:8. din altar și a strigat cu glas tare către cel ce avea cosorul cel ascuțit: „Pune*Ioel 3:13. cosorul tău cel ascuțit și culege strugurii viei pământului, căci strugurii ei sunt copți." 19 Și îngerul și-a aruncat cosorul pe pământ, a cules via pământului și a aruncat strugurii în teascul*Cap. 19:15. cel mare al mâniei lui Dumnezeu. 20 Și teascul*Is. 63:3.Plâng. 1:15. a fost călcat în picioare afară*Evr. 13:12. Cap. 11:8. din cetate; și din teasc a ieșit sânge până la zăbalele cailor*Cap. 19:14., pe o întindere de o mie șase sute de stadii.
